"My boyfriend and I love the food here at The Fox Den Restaurant. I haven’t tried all the menu selections yet but we have ordered the chicken fettuccine and it is absolutely delicious. I have also ordered the fettuccine without the chicken and it was just as yummy. We will definitely be ordering from them again and again. My Husband and I drove from Beaverton to try out this great restaurant!! Donna was our waitress and was a delight from the time we walked in to the time we left. We will be returning!!! The food was excellent, and big portions.

I came to Houghton Lake for the weekend and discovered this restaurant on Sunday. It was definitely the best food out of the five places we tried. It's a great family-run establishment that you should definitely visit if you're in the area.

Food was not good. Short staffed. Waitress forgot my side salad. Flies in the inside of window above our table looked like they were trying to get out. Inside seemed more like a converted gym than a restaurant. Boneless wings were good. my family will not be going back. View menu

Whether you’re passing through or staying nearby, find this place! Great food, great people. I came here with my friend on a whim on our way further north and this place made the trip. Can’t speak highly enough about the atmosphere and the staff. Get your seat because space is limited, but try anyways, it’s more than worth it.

This may look like a Elks lodge or VFW hall, but they have some great food and amazing service at the Fox Den. Food and drink specials , game selection, and a great variety on the menu make this place easy to come back to. I even accidentally left my credit card behind and they held on to it for me until the next day, (THANK YOU

Great little family restaurant (not a diner or bar) a little off the beaten path in Houghton Lake. Well worth the slight trip off M55. Don’t let the event center setting fool you, this is a great little gem with an extensive menu, friendly staff, great food and generous portions. We stopped off on the way through the area, but plan to come back! View menu

I have visited this restaurant twice and will definitely be returning! The salads were fresh and cold, my husband enjoyed the burger and onion rings, and he also tried the fish fry and enjoyed both dishes. I personally loved the pasta carbonara with crispy chicken - it was delicious. We haven't had dessert yet because the dinner was already so satisfying. The staff is very friendly.

We have been eagerly anticipating our first visit to this restaurant and it certainly lived up to our expectations. The service was friendly and the food was fresh, hot, and delicious. I was so excited to try my meal that I had already eaten half of it before I remembered to take a picture. I ordered the fish sandwich and my partner had the steak and shrimp dish. I highly recommend this place.
