"In my experience, there's only one restaurant that serves decent crinkle-cut fries (the same one that’s currently closed for lunch), and unfortunately, Olde Cedar Inn joined the list of places with unsatisfactory fries. While they were cooked adequately, they lacked any flavor. Thankfully, there was ketchup available on the table, which I found essential, even though I usually don’t use it. Other potato options were offered, but I regretted not choosing something different since potato pancakes weren’t on the menu. This omission cost them a star in my rating. The breading on the haddock was indeed crispy, but it also soaked up quite a bit of oil, leaving the dish a bit greasy. I was surprised by how much the breading overshadowed the flavor of the haddock itself, which is typically a flavorful fish. I didn’t hate the meal, but I certainly didn’t love it either. I also noticed that there were no measures to ensure social distancing among customers, and neither of the two staff members I saw wore masks at any point during my visit. As I've stated in previous reviews, I don’t mind if individuals choose not to wear masks for their own protection, but it’s irresponsible to neglect the safety of customers. The restaurant was relatively quiet when I arrived, but as my meal progressed, more guests came in, and the staff repeatedly seated them right next to each other instead of spreading them out. Now that I’m writing this review, I’m reminded of why I’ve decided not to return. I hope others will also think twice about visiting Olde Cedar Inn."

Broasted chicken is some of the best I've ever had. The staff was attentive and the drinks were well poured.

Great service every time. Love the tap beer options. Highly recommend the fish fry Fridays, the other menu items weren't anything special but the fish is as good as it gets!

Quaint restaurant that my cousin's family and I love to go to. Andy says it is the best Prime Rib he has had in years. I loved the broasted chicken. If you like a small area restaurant you will love Cedar Inn! Visualizza piatti

Seemed like a very popular restaurant . We went on a couple different recommendations. We both had fried fish. We both found the fish and the fries overcooked. Might be a favorite for others, but we would not recommend.

We've been going here for years and the food is consistently delicious and the service is always friendly. We love their wings, fish fry, ribs and burgers. I also love their lakeside delivery service. They bring your order to the boat launch via golf cart. Pro tip: order a boozy grasshopper ice cream drink for the boat. Yum!!

I went out for dinner with friends, as this place came highly recommended. It's a small restaurant, but we had a reservation and were seated quickly. I ordered a steak, but it had quite a bit of fat and gristle. I prefer New York steaks, which tend to have less of that. The steak was just average. My friends tried sandwiches, and they seemed to enjoy them. The portion sizes were generous, but overall, none of the four of us are planning to return. There are plenty of other restaurants in town that truly impress us, so we don’t feel the need to settle for less. Visualizza piatti

The prime rib was absolutely delicious—truly spot-on! I've been eager to return for more ever since. The side salad was pretty standard, and the twice-baked potato was decent, but it's the prime rib that really keeps customers coming back! I found the fish to be a bit on the dry side, but the breading was tasty and not soggy at all. My son ordered the ribeye, which was cooked just as he requested and was very juicy! We would definitely order the prime rib and steak again. We capped off our meal with a grasshopper cocktail—because, why not? It was a delightful little treat, not something you see on many menus these days. The service was great, the staff was friendly, and the food was good! I...

I had been hearing that it was hit or miss here but I see no evidence of any real miss. This is a small, no frills but charming, spot (The bar area is a bit more festive with some great outdoorsy decor). We stopped in mid week for lunch. I had the Mushroom Swiss Burger and it was delicious; juicy and cooked to a perfect temp medium. Two of my lunch mates order different chicken wraps (one grilled and the other breaded) they both really liked them. You can get homemade chips or, hello...Krinkle Fries! Krinkle Fries are never wrong. Never. Another in our party, ordered a Taco Salad. It was the one thing we found a little different...typically Taco Salad is served in a fried tortilla bowl. This...

"The Brazen Head Pub is located in West Bend, WI was neat and clean 90 minutes into the lunch session. This place is essentially a narrow bar with seating for couples along the opposite wall and enough room to walk from the front to the back kitchen area to pick up your takeout orders. It was pleasant for lunch. I’m not confident there is enough to do other than drink to make it worth going there after dinner. The “Good” … 1-The burger patty was grilled to a tasty medium-well. 2- the Patty was supposed to be a 1/2 pound burger and I believe it truly was 1/2 pound as it extended out well beyond the edges of the bun! 3- This month’s “fries of the month” were garlic Parmesan fries… Which were a nice change from standard french fries. The “Needs Improvement “ … 1- I told the bartender or whoever answered the phone for my order that I was a first time customer… And as it turns out according to the website, when a customer orders a BYOB (build your own burger I should’ve been asked which of three types of burger buns (brioche, pretzel or rye bread . Options were never offered which turned out to be a bit of a disappointment as I really would’ve liked to try the rye bread. 2- I requested barbecue sauce on my nearly $16 burger and I only had three bites where I could taste barbecue sauce. 3- for most folks this last one is minor, but when serving seasoned fries, the fries should be put into the carryout container first and the burger last… The staff at this bar/restaurant put the burger in first as my entire top half of the bun was covered with the garlic Parmesan fallout from adding the fries afterwards. It became a problem when my daughter tried the fries and wasn’t a fan. (although I was and when she found the garlic Parmesan sprinkles all over her sandwich, it was hard for her to enjoy it because you couldn’t get all of the garlic particle flavors off the bun."
