"First visit to the Rock and we will be back, just knowing better what to order next time. Impressed by the menu, lot of great looking options and not knowing what they specialize in we just ordered what sounded good. Full bar and good beer selections. Ordered the Ruben eggrolls for an appetizer, two eggrolls for $8, good not sure if I'd order them again but no complaints. My husband ordered the fried chicken with fries and I got a full bacon spinach salad. The salad was nothing to brag about, it was not a hot bacon dressing it had no mushrooms and it wasn't already mixed together. I would not order it again. Although the half fried chicken was the right choice. The chicken was crispy, delicious and still juicy inside. Will go back and we will both get the fried chicken. Nice sized space inside, nice atmosphere, clean. Also had outdoor seating with a view of the lake. Our waitress was friendly and quick, no complaints on her service. I will review again next time and fully expect to give this place 4+ stars"

Service started out a bit ruff took 12 minutes to get a draft beer but after that service was great the ready of the meal the walleye dinner was awesome The steaks I saw that were making there way through the dinning room looked great

We had a terrific experience here. Great food, staff atmosphere. Best filet i 've had in awhile and my tortilini had an excellent taste to it. The ceaser salads were also fantastic. I can 't say enough good. In town for a long weekend and already said we 'll be coming back just to try something else on the menu. We would 've liked to sit on the patio but was told it 's only open on the weekends right now 6/15/23 Visualizza piatti

We are so fortunate to live 10 min away. This is a five star restaurant. Everything is top notch, of course all the food, from the most complex entree in the dining room to the unique pizza on the outside patio. Thank Mike for the great management; he's a pro. It's a Michelin star restaurant without the price (3 stars average over $300 per person). When you go here, make sure you try the homemade soups and to-die-for desserts.

Yelp forces you to give 1 star. Customer service here is terrible. Ever since they tried to have multiple concepts the place is going downhill. The Owner takes up space with his cronies sitting at the bar when paying customer have to wait hours to be seated. Food in the lower part clearly not working. It is empty on a Saturday night so people obviously don't want overpriced small plate options and the employees are just standing around because of zero customers. Take a pass on The Rock it's now rolling downhill.

We recently enjoyed a wonderful meal at this restaurant. We started with the French onion soup, which was absolutely perfect! For my main course, I ordered the Parmesan crusted walleye (two fillets), which was a generous portion. My wife chose the Ahi Tuna served with a mild wasabi sauce. Both dishes were outstanding. We also tried some specialty martinis and concluded our meal with carrot cake. The waitress was attentive and responsive, enhancing our experience. We absolutely love the atmosphere here and highly recommend visiting this restaurant! Visualizza piatti

Our server, Emilee, took excellent care of us right from the start. We started with the scotch eggs, and wow, the flavors were incredible! I never would have expected them to be that good; I could have happily eaten them all night! My husband chose the ribeye steak, while I went for the chicken pot pie. The ribeye was hands down the best steak we've had since moving to Michigan three years ago. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right—truly impressive! As for the chicken pot pie, it featured an amazing puff pastry crust and a deliciously buttery chicken filling. It was the perfect portion size and packed with flavor! Plus, for your birthday, they treat you to a free dessert. We trie...

I've really tried to give this place a chance, but it’s always packed due to the lack of other options. I ordered a salad yesterday and I'm still waiting for it, though I'm sure I was charged for it. My husband ordered a wedge salad, and we’re still waiting for that as well. The owner was sitting just a couple of stools away, more focused on drinking with his staff than on the customers. I was never asked if I wanted a drink refill, and I ended up spending over $100 for what? I was done with my meal, but wanted to ensure the staff received their tips. The only good thing I can say is that the chips are great, but that was the only thing I got to eat. They even sent us home with a bag of food...

"While visiting family in central NY there aren't many dinner places close by. This is a great find in a small town. I'm always so pleased when small town places get the perfect 10 score on the queer o meter. So first off, Ty! Let's get to the food... we met family and we're a party of 6. They let us make a reservation for a Friday night, which was great and eased the pressure of having to wait. However if we did, they have a nice sitting area and bar to pass the time. Our waitress was great. Friendly, attentive and accommodating. The table got pot stickers and the seafood combo for starters, which had Portuguese shrimp, calamari, crab cakes and a couple of toast points. I tried them all and they all were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Tender shrimp and calamari and a good size portion. My fav, however, were the potstickers. Deeeeelish. I was going to get a vat of the dipping sauce to go! Our entrees were lobster ravioli, chicken Caesar salad, broiled haddock, scallop/shrimp puttanesca and salmon burgers. I personally had the haddock. It was topped with a lemon thyme butter sauce and accompanied by mashed potatoes and summer squash. The fish was moist and tender with just the right amount of sauce not drenched or greasy just enough to keep the moisture in and leave the faint herb flavour in your mouth. The squash was fresh and not limp. Steamed with the right about if of snap left in them. My least fav was the mashed. They tasted fine overall but not a huge fan. Mashed can be tricky for me to like I usually go with rice pilaf. The flavour was there, however I dig em on the fluffier side. Totally not a meal killer, as always, a personal preference. My cousin let me try the house made lobster ravioli. They were delish! I didn't opt for them bc I get disappointed with pink vodka sauces usually. Full disclosure, my take on their sauce is that it's not pink ha ha it's a heavier with the red sauce which I loved. It was rich, tomato y without being acidic and full bodied. Everyone else really enjoyed their meals. I decided it best not to dove into their food, lucky them. For dessert we shared a crème brûlée. Fantastic. Really well done. Creamy and well done caramelization. The meal was nicely paced and we weren't rushed at all. Great time, Ty Daniel's Grill!"
