"Stayed at Seneca Alleghany for 2 nights last weekend. The rooms are Beautiful and clean. The view is always wonderful since it's in the hills. I prefer Allegany to Niagara just because of the location. I'd rather take a scenic drive than a crazy busy highway to the heart of Niagara falls. My significant other can get rooms compt even on the weekend but not me. It's really about the high roller! We did eat at the steakhouse and it was a disappointment. It's all alicart, the service was slow, the steaks weren't done to order and as everywhere, the prices were steep. We had the breakfast buffet and it wasn't worth the $17. Sausage patties are questionable and french toast was basically fried bread. If the plates were cold so were the eggs. It might be better to order off the breakfast menu or eat as much bacon to make up the difference. Tried to go to the Seneca historical building on Saturday but it was closed. Took a drive to ellicottville and rode the coaster at Holiday valley. Be sure to visit for yourself! Rooms: 5 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury, Great view, Quiet"

I had a fantastic time! We enjoyed gambling, dining, and even experienced some live music. They might have taken my money, but it was well worth it for the fun I had!

I absolutely love staying here for a few days of hiking in Allegheny State Park. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and comfortable. I stayed here on the night of October 22 and woke up to find six different bugs on the walls and ceiling. A couple were ladybugs, but the others were just black insects. Now I'm left worrying about whether we got bitten and I have to unpack our luggage to check for them. I've never experienced anything like this before. I recommend checking the area before you decide to stay here.

I only left one star because it will not let you leave zero. I took my family to the Buffet last night for my husband's birthday. There were 7 adults, a 4 year old and an infant. It cost over $210 for frozen kraft macaroni and cheese that we serve to ourselves. The Hostess informed us that if we wanted to sit in the same section, not the same table, mind you, the same Section, we would have to get back in line and pay an additional 20% per person. My youngest daughter was a few minutes behind us, and was not informed that we had already done this so she tipped again on her card.
