"Stayed at Seneca Alleghany for 2 nights last weekend. The rooms are Beautiful and clean. The view is always wonderful since it's in the hills. I prefer Allegany to Niagara just because of the location. I'd rather take a scenic drive than a crazy busy highway to the heart of Niagara falls. My significant other can get rooms compt even on the weekend but not me. It's really about the high roller! We did eat at the steakhouse and it was a disappointment. It's all alicart, the service was slow, the steaks weren't done to order and as everywhere, the prices were steep. We had the breakfast buffet and it wasn't worth the $17. Sausage patties are questionable and french toast was basically fried bread. If the plates were cold so were the eggs. It might be better to order off the breakfast menu or eat as much bacon to make up the difference. Tried to go to the Seneca historical building on Saturday but it was closed. We stayed at a lovely, clean hotel with a welcoming staff. Being a casino resort, it's worth noting that food and drinks are pricier than at other places, but there are several dining options nearby. Our room was spacious, tidy, and offered a beautiful view of the mountains. It included a mini fridge, a small coffee maker, and a hairdryer, although there was no microwave. The hotel also features a pool, a fitness center, and an event space for concerts. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely return. Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5. Terrible experience signing in. We came on a casino sponsored bus tour. It took us over 1hr just to sign up for the sponsored bingo games. Had to wait in 6 different lines to get required tickets and comps for bingo, meal, and gaming. You would hope that a business such as this would have this process more streamlined. Had to wait in line as we departed the bus to check our casino card and load the OK onto this card to get other tickets. All downhill after this line. Won't be going back to this casino anytime soon.
