I visited this restaurant after a tiring day of climbing and decided to sit at the bar. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was excellent, and the short ribs were some of the best I have ever tasted. The potato to short rib ratio was also perfect.

I rarely would write a review but I have to say that every bite was delicious even the leftover Caesar and beet salad I had the next day. I also told the chef as I passed by the kitchen . My wife and I recently enjoyed a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The charming establishment offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. I highly recommend trying one of their delicious mixed drinks. The food was amazing and the homemade desserts and ice cream were exceptional. We will definitely be returning to dine here again.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! It's definitely worth the drive from the city. The duck here is the best I've ever had, no question about it. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is great. I highly recommend this place for a dinner option, with prices ranging from $30 to $50 per person. Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect 5 out of 5.

My husband and I ate here tonight and it was delicious. We had the grilled Ceasar salad, the short rib and the duck breast. And the flourless chocolate cake special for dessert. Everything was cooked well, the flavors were excellent and the service was friendly. Flourless chocolate cake was divine. We loved the atmosphere as well, with outdoor and indoor dining options. They also have a very nice looking bar that has seating. Would definitely recommend. I recently read a review on here about someone mentioning the owner being unpleasant, but I was truly surprised by our experience. We had a reservation for 6:30 but had to change it to a later time due to friends running late. The owner was incredibly accommodating, even on a busy Saturday night. I was impressed to see the owner on site. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and our group is excited for another meal at Spy. They were able to fully accommodate my dietary restrictions, which is not always the case at busy restaurants in the Hudson Valley. Our experience rated a 5 for food, service, and atmosphere.
