"Dining at this restaurant is always an enjoyable experience, especially while watching the lively crowd in the lobby. I savored the Queen cut of their renowned Prime Rib, which was beautifully marbled yet lean—truly an exceptional portion of broiled perfection. I also ordered the calamari, creating a delightful surf-and-turf combination. I regret not having enough room for my favorite key lime pie! The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating, and the kitchen deserves recognition for delivering meals that never fail to impress. Well done! The warm bread bowl with fig butter was a revelation; I can't believe I lived without fig-infused butter before!"

The Brunch menu options we had were delicious. The drinks we tried from the cocktail menu were well worth it. The service, from the host at the door to the server and our waitress Iris, was courteous and professional.

Does not seem like prime grade cuts of meat. Too much gristle, etc. Also, steak knives not very sharp. Some lame excuse about dishwasher beats them up. Yet other steakhouses manage to keep sharp knives. Caesar salad not as good as it used to be. Our server was very good.

I really enjoy the Steakhouse at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage and would definitely return because of the excellent food and service. However, the noise level can be quite excessive. Conversations happening around you can be heard clearly, but it's not enough to deter me from coming back—just a minor issue I wanted to mention.

"Wow! What a gem. We stopped here for dinner and dessert and just had to come back for breakfast, and everything was exceptional. The soft serve ice cream (made with oat milk) that they have is my favorite vegan ice cream that I have ever had. It's amazing. They have shaded and comfy outdoor seating. For dinner we had the chili soup, some garlic bread, the Guadalajara burger, and the Chupacabra Chic'n sandwich. Everything was super full of flavor and delicious. For desert, we got an ice cream to split and a slice of chocolate cake. The ice cream was absolutely wonderful. The cake was the weakest point of the meal, a little dry. But, it was still tasty. We knew during dinner that we just had to come back for breakfast (and more ice cream). We ordered a bagel sandwich and a tostada. My partner loved his sandwich. He gave me a piece of the tofu on it, and I normally don't like tofu that isn't very crispy, but was super tasty and flavorful. My tostada had a bunch of guac on it (not just a tiny scoop like some places do), and the flavors of the beans and guac were rich. The jalapeños added a nice kick (although, I'm sure you could get it without them if you don't like spicy). The ice cream was, again, amazing. I also got an agua fresca that was really pleasant on the hot morning. The staff members were very nice, were happy to answer any of our questions, and were generally quite helpful. 10/10"

"We had a nice time at dinner but I'm just shocked at the prices of everything. I had a bowl of angel hair pasta with marinara sauce and a couple pieces of cut up asparagus and I paid over $25.00, my husband had pesto fettuccine with sausage and he found the sausage to be dry and not good. The dinner special was a whitefish with mashed potatoes and asparagus and I usually never ask how much but did this time and it was $48.00...really? Happy hour there is always good but we won't be back for dinner. Service was great and it's not the fault of the waiters...dinner for 3 with one person drinking water, a house wine and a beer and it was over $200.00."

"Our waters never went empty! Somebody was always on the lookout, ready to refill that was really nice to have, especially at a restaurant in the desert. The food was immaculate the waiter was incredibly friendly. I normally don’t write reviews but this place was just too great to not brag about!! I loved every second I was there"

"The singer was amazing was the hilite of our evening. I came with 3 friends that have never been to Mastros- we ordered the shucked raw oysters to start I have never been to any restaurant that didn’t cut the oyster from the shell!!! We had to cut it with our knives pick the shells out of our mouths… horrible! It was like eating egg shells. I asked the server if this is normal (as it’s very strange) she said no- that’s not normal she’ll mention it to the chef… nothing was ever done or mentioned again to us. When we got the bill, we waited over 40minutes for anyone to come back to us… we finally waived down another server she started to process our bill. Our server finally came back apologized saying she got stuck downstairs (whatever that means). We ended up being there for almost 4hrs!!!! I’ve been to Mastros several times never had such bad service… sadly my friends won’t likely come back."

"I'm not sure if the issue lies with Open Table or the restaurant itself. I booked a table for two, which was supposedly the "only available time slot" according to the app. When I tried to change the reservation to four people, the app indicated that there were no tables available. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, we noticed that many tables were empty and stayed that way throughout our visit. When I asked the hostess about this, she informed me that any modifications needed to be made by phone."
