Food was excellent and Harry was an extremely knowledgeable server! Loved the historical ambience!

New Year’s Eve with the family. Everyone was incredibly friendly. Harry, our server, was the best. The starters( beet salad, French onion soup and cheesesteak rolls) were delicious. Everything was prepared and cooked perfectly and the portions are respectable. Would return and recommend.

Great food and atmosphere! Drinks were great and food was cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the cheeseburger egg rolls, Caesar salads, scallops, and short rib! On the pricier side, but well worth it! We started with the lobster bisque. It was one of the specials. It was delicious! Then I had the filet mignon, it was not as tender as I had hoped. The short rib is what my husband ordered, and that was very good, tender, and savory. We also ordered the espresso martini's. I would order them again and again! Overall, great spot to eat and drink.

The hostess was beyond rude, made us stand and wait, seating a ton of people that came in after us and we had a reservation. Our server could not have been less interested to help us. We asked for a drink recommendation and he told us he never had it and didn’t know if it was good or not. Finally our food came out and my wedge salad was GROSS. The lettuce was BLACK and wilted. Just an awful experience.

The hostess was extremely rude and made us wait while seating many people who arrived after us, despite the fact that we had a reservation. Our server was unhelpful as well; when we asked for a drink recommendation, he admitted he had never tried it and didn’t know if it was good or not. When our food finally arrived, my salad was great, but the other salad was wilted and disappointing. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food and atmosphere were both excellent. The drinks were fantastic, and every dish was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend trying the cheeseburger eggs, Caesar salad, scallops, and short rib. While it is on the pricier side, it's definitely worth it! I can see this being a perfect spot for a date, family dinner, celebration, or any special occasion. I would wholeheartedly recommend it and will definitely return!

Decided to go to peddlers Village to see the gingerbread house display and Christmas lights. Stopped in Doylestown for dinner, discovered the water wheel Tavern, and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the French onion soup the taste was amazing. The cocktails were very well made and the meal was excellent. The french fries could’ve been a little warmer, but I don’t think they would lose a star for them. Can’t wait for warmer weather so we can sit outside, we will be back. Visualizza piatti
