"I got lost on my way down the gulf freeway when I happened upon this place and thought I 'd support a local place I 've never been to. I suppose I was feeling adventurous and decided to roll the dice.I 'll think twice before doing that with random Tex Mex cuisine unless I 'm in the valley.I ordered a simple beef quesadilla and it came with a side of frijoles a la charra and a bit of salsa.The quesadilla needed some floaties because that b was SWIMMING ?? in it 's own grease.I 'm a member of the CPC (Clean Plate Club), but I refused to finish this.While the flavor of the frijoles was on point, they also needed a snorkel as there were about only six little beans in the whole dang cup so the whole thing seemed like it was 95% liquid. "Where da beans at bro?? "The lady that took my order was very professional even though there was a language barrier. If anything that lady was the main reason this review isn 't a 1 star, so props to her.The other patrons mostly seem to have an opposite opinion than that of my experience, so if I ever (somehow) find myself back at this restaurant I 'll be open to changing my review (as per my personal rule of giving any 2 3 star reviews another chance).Fool me once though..."

Food isn't that great especially not for the price. They also don't use fajita and the bistec they use is poorly cooked and unseasoned. Look elsewhere.Food: 1/5

This was a hard pass for me. All the tables were roped off and hostess wanted to seat us in a very unfavorable location. Just turned around and left. Didn't feel welcomed and customer service was poor. Very unorganized. Never made it to the table. It's unfortunate.

The service was initially lacking. The server who seated us ignored us for 15 minutes. When he realized it,we got another server.And then everything was fantastic. It's almost like eating la Siberia from Monterey Nuevo Leon I loved it as a child and it just brought back memories ? the service was excellent and the price was perfect I definitely give it a thumbs up and I recommend specially to the ladies try the tostada it's enormous so good and delicious Kid-friendliness: The plate of the quesadilla comes with refried beans and rice my granddaughter loved it?Parking: Parking is at back of restaurant

I flew into Houston and asked my mom to take me out for some good Mexican food, and she brought me to this restaurant. She ordered the vapor tacos, while I opted for the trompo tacos. Both dishes did not disappoint. The vapor tacos were fantastic; many places tend to run out of them, but I was told they usually have them here. The trompo tacos were also delicious, served fully dressed with salsa that had a nice kick without being overly spicy. I can’t wait to return and try more items from their menu!
