"This was an interesting experience. Let me start by saying that the service was not great. I don't know if our server was having a bad night but they were very short with us and didn't really seem interested in us at all. I could go into more detail, but I can sum it up by saying our entire experience was like an episode of the office, and we felt awkward the entire time. The food however was mostly great. The garlic knots are fine, but they're more like mall food and I don't entirely understand why they chose to serve these. They're not bad, they're just kind of lazy. The balsamic dip that was served with the knots did not compliment them at all. The carpaccio was quite amazing, and it was the best one I've had that I can remember. I mean, it was really great. Great balance of acidity, horseradish and salt to compliment the normal carpaccio accoutrements and most of all, delicious fresh beef. The panzanella salad was fresh, vibrant, well dressed and had great proportions. Plenty of fresh Parmigiano and basil leaves really gave it a very luxurious flavor. My wife ordered the carbanara. It was not great. It's a tough dish to make right. It was already congealed and lumpy upon arrival. The flavor was average in a decent way and the pancetta was well prepared. Overall, it was just heavy and broken without being smooth or creamy at all. I ordered the shrimp scampi pasta and it was amazing! Everything about it was perfect. The sauce was light but had just enough body and flavor. The pasta was not perfect al dente, but it had a good slightly firm integrity to it. The shrimp was perfectly cooked and seasoned. If I had one suggestion, the stuffing could have been less dry, but it was delicious nonetheless. Our server brought the check before we could even consider dessert, so we wouldn't know how that is, haha. Look, overall I feel like I CAN recommend this restaurant. I want to think that we just came on an off night and we will consider giving it another try. The things that were great were truly great, and the things that weren't can be fixed. I wish I could give more than three stars but I really think it's the right and fair rating based on our experience."

My husband and I happened to walk into here- my it was like heading to nonna’s house the food was outstanding the place extremely clean and the staff was fantastic! From the wonderful hot homemade fresh rolls- to the cannoli! Enjoy don’t miss this place!

Service was poor. Waitresses was friendly but that was all. Food arrived while all of us were still eating our salads. We sent the food back. No one ever came to pour more water. Waitress didn't come back to see if anyone wanted another drink (cocktail, wine or beer). A few of us did and we went to another place afterwards. Other than the two birthday desserts no one was asked if they also wanted any dessert. I guess sine the tip was added for the size group no one cared. We've been there a few times before Covid and always enjoyed everything. None of us will return. The restaurant lost out on more drinks and desserts. There's much better Italian restaurants in this city
