It’s pretty expensive but it’s very convenient. They are very nice. And whatever they are cooking smells fantastic.

Such a gem in the middle of it all. Fantastic wine selection and the fresh sandwiches are great. So many good eats and drinks in a small shop. The people who work there are the best!

The selection is quite good, and the owner and his son are both very helpful and friendly. They have extended hours, which is a big plus. The only reason I don't visit more frequently is the prices – they are quite high, unfortunately too high for my budget.

I did it. After 5, week long trips over the last two years, and at least 15 sandwiches split between my husband and I, we have found our favorite! The Bird. We frequently visit Seattle since my partner works at the University of Washington, and we discovered this gem during our last trip. Now, we stay at the hotel right across the street just to be near this fantastic little market. The sandwiches are incredible—absolutely delicious! The customer service is top-notch as well! This place is definitely a must-visit!

came here during an extended appointment at the UW health center down the street. was pleasently suprised buy this little market. they have a great menu of and selection of sandwhiches. the store has a good selection of necessities as well. beer, wine,soda, coffee and snacks. got the buffalo chicken sandwhich and a bacon egg and cheese bagel. both were good size and yummy!! reccomend stopping in if you are in the area!

The owner is a nice guy and the staff are friendly and do a great job.The sandwhiches they make are all very good and they use top notch bread and meats. Their bacon is supper yummy. I'm adicted to the Buffalo Connection and get it on days I need a pick me up.As for the groceries, there is no doubt you're paying more then you would at Safeway or Krogers, but they have a surprisingly good selection of things, espessily for colledge students seeing how close this is to the Uni.To sum up, it's a great market with good people working at it.
