I visited the Washburn café and was blown away. They have created a beautiful atmosphere, the staff was very friendly and outgoing, and it had a very at home feel. I love that they make their own almond-cashew milk and also have gluten-free options. I can't wait to try lunch there soon. This is a place that I would visit on a daily basis. Support local businesses and visit this café as soon as you can!

Popped into Eugene for the weekend, and stopped in at the Washburne Cafe for Saturday breakfast. No regrets! The breakfast sandwiches were delicious, they tasted very fresh and were the perfect size to fill up in the morning without leaving you over stuffed. The hot chocolate and the hazelnut latte were both yummy, satisfying, and well balanced (not too sweet, not too bitter, not too heavy). The atmosphere of the cafe is cozy and welcoming without being cluttered or cramped, and it was lovely watching the fog roll through the trees over the Springfield Downtown. We will definitely visit again the next time we’re in town! Thanks for a wonderful breakfast!

All atmosphere, and the coffee was good. I can see why people would like this place.That being said: Avoid the food if you can. The fried chicken had no flavor, but the crunch was nice. They should probably brine those thighs, or at least salt the meat. The breakfast sandwich was a bit of an insult: a wet scramble on a tired, tiny English muffin with a flavored mayo. It made Dari mart look good.Over medium eggs were hard, there was lettuce in random places, under the eggs and toast..not really sure what they were going for there.Definitely not a spot to go if you are hungry or looking for breakfast.
