"This was previously one of our favorite lunch spots. However, during our most recent visit from Akron to Vermillion, we had a very unfortunate experience with the owner, who was both insulting and rude. After enjoying a pleasant meal and receiving great service from our waitress, I accidentally ripped my pants on an exposed nail while getting up from the bench seat. When I brought this issue to the owner’s attention, he dismissed my concerns and offered no compensation for my damaged pants. When I pressed the matter, he swore at me, drove off in his VW van, then suddenly stopped in the middle of the street, jumped out, and threw $40 at me while hurling more insults. This experience has convinced me that I will not return to Woodstock Cafe again!"

One of my all-time favorite restaurants! It's a great spot to enjoy a beer or an amazing cup of coffee, and it's the perfect place to just relax and soak in the atmosphere. The food, service, and atmosphere here are outstanding. While the patio looks wonderful, we chose to sit indoors due to the rain. The coffee drinks and specially made raspberry tea were both excellent. The seating is unique, adding to the experience. Most menu items start at $15 and include sandwiches served with chips, fresh coleslaw, and a pickle.
