Noodles were good, meat was great, garlic rice was great, Chu hi was weak and needed more strength for the price

service good, meat ok, price ok. Wagyu is not much different than other except is softer. Sauce good! But most meat are already marinated. (Better deal during nyc restaurant weeks, could try it out during that time)

Although the food was good, the meal was extremely over-priced. The bill was over $500 CAD and the staff was taking out multiple bags of garbage and putting up the chairs as we finished our meal. We felt rushed and unwelcome. Visualizza piatti

The meat was excellent, but spent $85 on 2 steaks and 1 sausage order. I left hungry. Portions are tiny. The sides were too extreme. The spicy soup was too spicy and the garlic rice too much garlic. Service was very attentive.

Tourist trap — not worth the money AT ALL. Bad value for money. Extremely basic food that is packaged as exclusive until you receive it. Staff is nice but they will try to sell you gimmicks such as treasure boxes for 80$/ea. Save your money and go to an authentic Japanese restaurant.

We had a fabulous dinner! The quality of food and service was great. Much beyond our expectation or NYC standard. We read other reviews about small portions or prices, before going. However none of us didn’t agree with those review. Restaurants in NYC are expensive for people from outside in general these days. We thought Yakiniku Futago offers very good value and experiences. Ambiance and the vibe of the place is relaxing, but the cuts of meat are way overpriced… and not any better than a regular bbq place. You’re paying more for the ambiance. Electric grill? For the price you are paying a charcoal grill should be standard. And the dipping sauce you only get two soy based dipping sauces. I thought for a high end Yakiniku place you would at least get some sea salt as well and maybe real wasabi.

I came here with one of my friends to do 2nd round dinner and drink. Meats were generally quite nice for its quality but personally I felt like they were overpriced for what I get. I would prefer other bbq place in Manhattan over this place. I also didn’t enjoy that the night when I was there was too loud with Chinese language flying around the restaurant. 고기 퀄리티는 좋은데 그걸 감안해도 가격이 좀…? 다시 올지 안올지는 잘 모르겠습니다. 그리고 제가 갔었던 그 밤은 중국말로 너무 시끄러웠어서 그것도 좀 별로였어요.

Went here with my boyfriend for his birthday lunch. Everyone should experience their Harami it’s the most tender but juiciest piece I have ever had in NYC. Niku sushi was bit over priced for only one piece $15—19) so whoever has extraordinary income should enjoy it, otherwise just focus on BBQ.
