"Absolutely fantastic! I love their beer selection, and the outdoor patio is really cozy. Update 5/30: I had my first and only bad experience here today. The service was terrible! It took a long time for our server to come and take our drink order. She did pass by and acknowledge us, saying she would be right with us, but everything took ages to arrive. The place wasn’t even busy inside. Our server brought us our drinks and the check, but everything else was delivered by someone else. I had to ask another server for utensils and for the extra ranch I requested with my order. My pizza was missing the toppings I had asked for, which the server admitted she forgot. I appreciate her owning up to that, but my server was unavailable or not around at all for over an hour while we were dining. The food was good as usual, and the beer and cocktails were delicious!"

"I was quite disappointed with the pizza—it had very little sauce, and the crust was nothing like what I would expect from New York-style pizza; I've had better options from the frozen food aisle. Additionally, I was surprised to discover when I got home that I had been charged a fee for using a credit card, and I wasn’t informed about this beforehand. Although it's a small amount, they should definitely make that clear. I will be including pictures."

"First off, I have to mention that our server, Hannah, was outstanding - very sweet and attentive. The bottomless mimosas were a waste of money - just orange juice with a splash of champagne and took a long time to arrive despite the lack of customers in the restaurant. The huevos rancheros and waffles had no flavor at all, and the steak and eggs, which were supposed to be a 5oz filet, were tough and overcooked. It was so hard we needed extra effort and a good knife to cut it. It was completely tasteless. We asked for a larger table for our party of 4, but were told no, even though the restaurant was only a third full and there were empty tables all around us. The hostess was rude and the service was slow. This was our second visit and we won't be returning. Our bill was $130, which was overpriced for the quality of the food. The only thing that impressed us was Hannah's service. After reading the owner's response to other negative reviews, it's clear that they don't take criticism well. It's a shame because the food was lacking in taste and quality - especially the huevos rancheros. It was worse than "shake and bake" prepared by a blind person. The restaurant may have a long way to go, but attacking customers for giving honest feedback won't help them improve."

"Visited the place today. I love their burgers and steak fries BUT I always struggle with the amount of blue cheese crumbles I get when I ask for it. I?m paying for the cheese anyway. I tipped like I normally do because their credit card machine asks youto . But today I requested extra crumbles hoping I?ll get double the amount for the $1.20 price I paid? this picture is what Igot. Before I walked away I asked if they actually gave me the extra and the older man said ?Yes, I made sure the cook gave youextra?. I said ?Ok, but it appears to be as much as I normally get and could I please have more?. He was obviously frustratedwith me and walked to the kitchen and said something to the cook who looked up at me and he walked back with an ounce ofcrumbles. I thanked him and ate my meal but was upset. When I finished I approached the registers with nobody around and askedthis older gentleman if I was in fact charged for the extra cheese, he said ?yes?. I told him that since I paid for it, Iexpected to have enough on my burger to satisfy me and that I was sorry it upset him for requesting more. Then I added that Ihad left a tip as I typically do and I clean off my table. Then I said that if I return in the future I will bring my own bluecheese crumbles and I refuse to ever tip again since I do all my own work. I literally paid $13 Just for this burger and tip (nodrink). He did say that the tip is for the employees to clear off the table and that he was not upset (despite his gestures andcomments made to the cook). It upsets me when people who work for an establishment don?t seek customer satisfaction anymore. Itused to be the goal. Just smile and give your customers what they are asking and do this with appreciation because THEY arepaying your salary. I won?t give up on the place over this experience but I?ll be the one saving $1.20 plus tip putting my owncheese on my burger and clearing off my own table."

"Don’t try the new pimento sandwich here. I was super excited to try the new hot honey pimento sandwich so my bf and I went specifically to try it. There was about a teaspoon smear of pimento on my sandwich. It looked comically nothing like the picture its advertising which is unfortunate bc we were looking forward to trying it. Reached out to customer service hoping for at least a refund on my sandwich and received a response basically saying sorry, let the team know, hope it’s better next time.. —Red Owl has an amazing pimento sandwich that actually looks like the picture if you have been equally let down by this location"
