the aromes are immaculate. it is a beautiful, picturesque place with its own charm. the personal was friendly and funny. I would rate this place just one star to keep it empty for me! the Squash-Ravioli is one of the best vegetarian pasta options in denver.

I can’t believe this place has no reviews!!! This place is amazing, my fiancé and I are hooked and come all the time- mainly for breakfast and you can’t go wrong with anything! I just had lunch there for the first time and it was just as delicious. It’s a hidden gem for sure, tucked back in a small shopping center.

The food was delicious and the service was great! We came in at about 10:30 on a Sunday and I expected a long wait but we're seated right away. The restaurant filled up quickly after we arrived. Their breakfast burritos use Colorado chilies and was fantastic. I ordered the Croque Madame and was pleasantly surprised. It was incredibly flavorful! Was looking for a quick dinner to order to-go, but from somewhere I hadn't been before. I was excited when I discovered Zest down the street from my house. They were closed to dine-in at the time but the space looked rustic and inviting. The food I got was flavorful and creative! I was growing tired of the chain restaurants in my area and this was a fresh new dinner experience. I'm definitely looking forward to going back soon.

Slow service and confusing way to order.but don't let that stop you from going. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Crab cakes were authentic, salads amazing, scallops perfectly cooked, steaks to the perfect temperature. The portabella mushroom and brussel sprout apps were the best I ever had and my granddaughter who does not like mushrooms loved them. We had a newborn baby with us and we apologized for his crying and the owner said don't worry about it. Lots of couples in there. Limited bar for hard alcohol, but you go for the food not the liquor. Beers and wine selections were great. We will be back.

1 year update: My favorite restaurant, being a Lakewood local. Best joint around, hands down. The owner Vince Chere who will probably greet you are just amazing people. Come here, you won't regret it. Celiac safe too! Chere the one who took my order today and Vince, the owner, are AMAZING. I have Celiac disease so eating out can be hard and frustrating because not only my allergy to gluten but gluten free food that has been cross contaminated with food that does have gluten (shared surfaces, shared deep fryers, pans utensils et cetera) but NOT AT ZEST!
