"If you've ever wondered what the old newsstands and luncheonettes in New York were like, this is the place to experience it. A wave of nostalgia hit me when I spotted the old dark blue-painted newsstand under the register, and there’s even a faint scent of newsprint lingering in the air. Their breakfasts are absolutely fantastic—it's one of the last spots in New York where you can get a proper bacon and eggs meal, not that beef bacon stuff (I know there are more, but 95% of bodegas have stopped serving pork). While their other dishes are also great, I live for their incredible bacon and egg sandwich. If you're ever in the area, the staff is super nice, friendly, and helpful, and they’re solid cooks to boot. Plus, if you become a regular, they’ll remember your order after just a few visits!"
