"Have you ever heard that sometimes the best food can come from the most unexpected places, like a small hidden gem or a place with a simple name? A&S Pizza is exactly that kind of place. Wow! I tried the BBQ chicken pizza and the spinach with chicken Alfredo, and they were absolutely delicious. The downside of this place is that the atmosphere is a bit run-down and the bathroom lacks hand soap and towels. So cleanliness may be lacking. However, it's the perfect spot for takeout."

This restaurant has the best pizza in NYC. We came all the way from Birmingham, AL and it was truly a hidden gem. I can't wait to come back next time I'm in the area.

After disembarking from the Staten Island Ferry, we stumbled upon a pizza place. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating as we ordered two pizzas and two sodas. The pizza was delicious and the staff was great. I would definitely recommend this place.

Actually, for $2, this is a pretty decent slice.Decent size, generous cheese and sauce. Cheese well cooked.Crust is chewy, crispy and very tasty. Only downside seems to be the sauce.Sauce doesn't taste italian; it's okay but has no particular flavor of any kind. Add something like Basil in the sauce and this slice will be phenomenal. Graded at 92.

Just like any typical long time small pizza shop. Right next to the ferry and a high school so foot traffic is amazing and has a good atmosphere as a result. Don't expect perfection as this is a place that strives to make your belly happy, not give your eyes a headache. As a result? I like it. Reminds me of my Dad's place Angie's Pizza and heck sure has a good regular cheese pizza. I dont go fo all those crazy idiotic slices, thankfully.
