"What they sell here is a disgrace to the name shawerma. Growing up in the middle east i have never had onions inside a shawerma, they try to put in more onions and less beef. Edit: Thank you kind sir for replying but i regrettably have to inform you that my whole family got sick after eating over there, we dont eat out much and when we did, the next day my 2 year old son had to go to ER and now today me and my pregnant wife are sick. Please do a check of the food you guys make there, i dont want other people to get sick like us. I have had abu omar at other locations and its always good but this one just wasnt the same, its a prime location and if you guys make the food quality better you can have a good place for people to eat halal. Also the prices are absurd and after paying 30$+4$ tip when i asked if it has garlic sauce inside the guys reply was its not free bro. I just asked if its inside the bag he could have said no but its 1$ per sauce, i can literally go and have nihari somewhere with naans and still pay less after giving a 10$ tip."

"I do not recommend going to this restaurant. The food was overpriced and tasted terrible. I felt sick after eating there and will not be returning."

They used to have a good Shawarma…now it’s so filled with raw onions that it’s disgusting. Like it’s an overwhelming onion taste. When I called to ask about it they literally cussed me out. I would avoid this “food truck”.

Last year this was my go to spot for their chicken shawarma quesadilla. Food used to be consistently amazing. Now, if Omar isn’t there cooking the food, it tastes awful and not worth the price increase. Omar gives great customer service but the other guys that work there do not.

since 2015 you are eating here, but the service and food quality is downhill and the prices are high-rocked. ordered tonight, but was one of the worst tasting Italian schawarma with oily and salty frits. never again at this place. waste of money! almost $40 for a order of arabi and Italian schawarma is a sweat.

The enjoyable experiences at this restaurant start to decline after 2 o'clock, as only a few staff members are left and they provide poor service. This is why I no longer eat their mediocre food and will not recommend it to anyone. Halal Young's is a much better option with a wider variety of dishes, friendly staff, and better service. I placed a pick-up order way ahead of time and when I arrived, my order wasn't ready. They said the online order system wasn't working so they didn't get the order. So I had to stand and wait there, wasted my 30mins of lunch time to get my order. Once I came back to work, I realized it was the wrong order. I order chicken zinger sandwich with cheese meal, but received chicken swarma sandwich! Disappointed ?

I was extremely disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The man taking orders on the food truck had a very bad attitude and refused to make eye contact with me, making me feel unheard. I believe that individuals of Arab descent, particularly those from countries like Lebanon, Syria, or Egypt, do not show the same level of respect towards Pakistanis or Indians. It felt as though this man regarded me as inferior or even showed signs of racism. As a 65-year-old who has spent many years in Dubai, I am familiar with this behavior. Simply being of Arab descent does not make one superior. Despite greeting him with "salam," he did not respond. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
