"This is the best Thai restaurant I’ve been to in the East Bay. So I and my friends keep coming back. The dishes are really well done, and the portions are quite good too. While, it can get a little noisy when it’s full, most of the time it’s OK. I particularly love the corn cheese fritters, the jumbo garlic, shrimp, the exquisite, coconut soup, and the ginger dish. "I have taken several meat eaters to this restaurant and everyone agrees that Tane (also known as Shizen in SF) is a perfect 10 out of 10. My top picks are the Pacifica and Sunset rolls. The Sweet Potato roll is also delightful and more affordable. I do wish they offered some rotating specials though. It seems like the menu has remained the same for the past five years, including at Shizen, which has been operating for even longer but offers the same dishes under different names."

"First let’s start with the name! It’s so Bay Area I love it. I’ve ordered from here a few times and love that on lunch I can come down the street for some great food. In the past I’ve had the chicken pho and the veggies are so fresh! Another time I had the grass fed beef banh mi and it was delicious I always like to get peanut sauce for dipping. Today I had the fried egg roll wrapped in the spring roll! Y’all my back is never getting unbigged lol. It was so tasty. The flavor, the freshness and crunch just drove it over the top. My favorite drink from here is the limeade it goes with everything. The guy behind the counter I’ve interacted with plenty of times is so nice love his vibe and love how patient he is when I have a million questions."

"I tried this restaurant for the first time and I will definitely be returning. The customer service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and they offer a variety which is great. As a picky eater, I have no complaints about this place. I love it here, it is perfect for breakfast, brunch, dinner, and any special occasion. In terms of dietary restrictions, I personally do not eat pork and if you inform them, they will make recommendations or accommodate your needs."
