"The tempura udon I ordered was missing the tempura entirely. The udon noodles seemed like they were store-bought and overcooked, similar to what you can find at my local Asian market, and I suspect that the broth was not homemade either, as it lacked the rich flavor it should have had. The dish included some greens, which felt unnecessary and not traditional, though I did turn them into a small side salad. Overall, there was no proper tempura, and it's clear that they don’t understand what "tempura udon" is supposed to be. This was my first experience ordering from Aji, and it will likely be my last. I cannot recommend this restaurant for multiple reasons."
