I had the best breakfast I've ever experienced! The pancakes of the day were absolutely amazing and took my taste buds to another level. Joel Wasserman recommended this place to me, and I'm so glad he did!

10/10 omelette. Daily special with beef, jalapeno, bell peppers and loaded with rich cheese. Toast on the side is thick cut, jam is delicious, and the jalapeno hot sauce is excellent. Coffee was excellent, too.

Very prompt and friendly...even through what I feared would be a possible language barrier, but no worries! I has the avocado and pepper jack omelet. I am on keto so asked for a bit more sour cream and Pico...no problem ? oops it was so good I forgot to take a before pic silly?

This is a charming little restaurant. As I'm still getting to know the Capitol Hill neighborhood, I found myself here after noticing that Glo's café had a long wait time (which I completely understand). My friend suggested this spot, and I'm so glad she did. We were seated right away and could choose any table we wanted. The server was incredibly friendly and attentive! I ordered the French Toast, and it was fantastic!

The food was tasty, but the waitress was quite rude and aggressive. For instance, when one of our party members inquired if the omelette was made with cheddar cheese, as she had ordered, the cook seemed uncertain. However, the waitress quickly took the dish from the cook and placed it on our table, insisting that it was cheddar. Unfortunately, it wasn't. 3.75 stars. The food is good. The service can be pushy (because they want to turn tables over fast? , which is uncool. Food is very good but they serve 'pure maple syrup ' that is anything but. Also not cool.The space is fine but feels a bit worn and in need of a refresh.There appears to be no website for Americana anymore but they are open and serving.There should be enforced laws requiring truth in advertising, especially when advertised real maple syrup is replaced with organ-crushing corn syrup slop.

A decent, although somewhat lowkey brunch place in Capitol Hill and it is not as busy as some of the other brunch spots nearby like Glo's, Skillet, etc. From the table set up, this place is friendly for going solo or as a party of 2, with fewer tables for larger parties than that. They have an extensive cocktail menu, but after drinking a lot the past day, I opted out of trying the cocktails here.We got the maple glazed pork belly and the Seattle Slam with sausage and sunny side up, substitute for French Toast. Sometimes when my husband has errands, he occasionally offers to take me out somewhere new to eat. This was one of those days that I was really excited about. I googled a few places closer to the waterfront in Seattle because it was bright and sunny out which is rare for this time of year, however, I couldn 't find anything I was interested in so I started looking for restaurants similar to the Carlile room and this one popped up.
