"So upset!!!!We literally just traveled 1 1/2 to this restaurant after hearing great things about the food. We called several times before heading out and the phone goes straight to voicemail.We finally arrived and the hostess tells us it’s by reservation only! Seriously!!!!If this is the case, WHY DONT PEOPLE REMOVE INCORRECT INFORMATION FROM THEIR WEBSITES OR on “GOOGLE” for that matter.,,, Bad business, no wonder why some don’t survive. If it were me I would have sat my guest anyway just to accommodate them due to the fact we weren’t clear in our message.Definitely won’t visit again!"

"We had the watermelon and mozzarella appetizer as well as the peach and prosciutto, and both were absolutely amazing! The lobster ravioli was just as delicious as always, and the flambé steak was exceptional. For dessert, we indulged in the profiteroles and pistachio cake, which were delightful. I’ve never left a restaurant feeling so satisfied. The staff was fantastic, and a special thank you to the chef. Thank you, La Cava, for a wonderful dining experience!"

"Not sure what the fuss is all about. We tried going a few weeks ago and were turned away at the door at opening (3rd party in the door) because they were booked up and told it would be a wait over 1.5 hous. Their website states they only reserve half therestaurant so we didn't feel reservations would be necessary if we got there at opening. Made reservations the other night togive them another try. Ordered drinks and appetizers and those came out rather quickly. However from appetizers to salads wewaited over an hour. After about an hour of waiting our waiter told us it was because of a big party and the kitchen would notlet them bring our salads until the big party was served. The salads were bland, Caesar dressing was lacking any flavor. Whenwe got our food it was mediocre at best. My wife's filet was dry. My ribeye tasted ok, but I have had far better steaks for alot less money. Definitely not a $50 quality steak. Overall not impressed for the cost and hype built up around this place. Ourmeal took over 2.5 hours and we didn't even order dessert. First and last time dining here."

"While exploring downtown Salisbury, I was in search of a locally owned restaurant that offered healthy options. I was thrilled to discover this hidden gem. The interior and waitstaff were bright and cheerful, and I was pleased to find out that there is no fryer in the kitchen - everything is fresh! The dining experience was both pleasant and satisfying. An added bonus was being able to access four Poké-Stops while enjoying my meal (for all you Pokémon Go fans out there). And to top it all off, the restaurant proudly displays a 99% sanitation grade. I highly recommend checking out this spot when you're in downtown Salisbury, NC - it's definitely worth a visit!"

"Headed to visit a relative and decided to go a different route and saw this place and filed it away to look it up. Glad I did. The online reviews were good so I decided to test drive next time I was near. They fill their Long Johns as you order and I read they will fill as much as you want. I went white cream and asked for the max. It was definitely max filling and it was really good. I think I might prefer the white cream Red Donut in Lexington just a tad. The apple fritter is absolutely fantastic; its different. More done than other fritters but still top notch. The sour cream bar was just mindblowingly good. Once again just a little more done than some might prefer but to me this donut was up there with any I have ever had. The cake donuts are very light. Service was fantastic, quick and the lady (owner was quite patient. These donuts are huge. Wish I lived closer."
