"It's been a few years since my last review, so I thought I would post an updated one. It's important to stay consistent! I think over time, Angry Ramen has just gotten better. I already really liked their ramen before, and the past few times I've had it I've liked it even more. Service is fast and friendly, and the food is fresh. The ramen broth is rich without being too heavy or salty. I love the thin noodles and they cling to the broth so well. You know I really liked the ramen if I almost finish all my broth and I definitely do every time. This is such a gem in San Leandro and I would highly recommend trying this place out if you haven't!"

I really like how convenient the location is of this place. The staff had let us stay even though they were going to close for lunch. I like how you can customize your order.

First time here and I will be back. I ordered the Shio Chicken ramen and added minced Wagyu beef. I also added spice with their chili oil. The chicken broth was rich and flavorful. Their noodles are made in house daily and pair perfectly with the broth. I ate every single drop!

The menu was online, and it seemed the options for customizing your broth were no longer available.Overall it tasted pretty good, but it was just not too much of the Japanese ramen we were looking for. The broth was a bit lighter than what you would normally expect for the Japanese ramen. View menu

Veggie Ramen was delicious. The ramen itself has great texture and good portion . The soup was tasty and not too salty, very easy to the palates and feels very comfortable after emptying out the bowl. Not much vegetarian options for appetizers, but it's not needed. A bowl of ramen hits the spot just right.

Very good! Service a little slow even when we were the only people there. Tantanmen was great. The egg is undercooked (straight up runny instead of jammy). Spice level 1 packed more heat than I was expecting (felt more like 2). Overall still very tasty and I’m excited to come back to try the black garlic tonkotsu.

Fantastic ramen shop! The Angry Tantanmen is incredibly delicious. I opted for spice level 2, which turned out to be quite spicy; next time, I think I'll stick with level 1. Unlike some ramen places that just use instant noodles and overcook them, this one serves authentic ramen cooked to perfection with the right amount of bite. View menu

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I definitely would! This is one of the best ramen dishes I've ever tasted! The broth is rich and smooth, bursting with vibrant flavors, and the appetizers were incredible—especially the fries, which had a really unique taste. Plus, the portion sizes are excellent for the price. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the customer service is top-notch! I highly recommend you check it out! :D

Great food. We ordered black garlic ramen, veggie ramen, fries and takoyaki. Everything was flavorful and reasonably priced (when it was all said and done it came to around $45). I actually liked this veggie ramen better than other ramen places around the broth had a very deep flavor, the noodles were bouncy, and the egg was cooked to be perfectly gooey inside. The customer service was also incredibly nice. The gentleman confirmed our order once on the phone and again in the restaurant. Pleasant person to talk to while picking up the order as well.Would go back.
