"We had our first experience at Nara Thai, and it was fantastic! We visited for dinner on a Thursday night, so it was quite calm. Our server was very friendly and offered great recommendations for popular dishes. We tried the angel puffs, which are their take on crab rangoons, and they were delicious. Our food arrived hot and promptly. We were able to savor our meal without feeling hurried, and our drinks were regularly topped off. Before we knew it, it was closing time, and we had to make a quick exit. We also enjoyed the decor, and the crayons at our table for doodling added a fun touch!"

The food was pretty good but the cleanliness is terrible. The booth seats were dirty with crumbles and grease. The restroom was disgusting. When you dine out you expect the food as well as the atmosphere to be good and welcoming, which, in my opinion, includes the cleanliness of the restaurant.

Went there after we shopped at the outlet mall, Truly gem of a thai place. Very flavorful Tom yum, Pad kee mow was delicious too! We ordered shrimp fried rice, but they served chicken by mistake, they were kind enough to oblige and cancel it. Amazing service! Last but not the least the Thai ice tea was perfect, comparable to authentic one we tried in Asia.

I’m not sure where to start with this review—whether it’s the genuinely delicious food or the wonderful, friendly servers who consistently go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Plus, if they notice you’re hesitating between a spice level of 3 or 4, they’ll always suggest the 3, which has saved me on more than one occasion—believe me! My husband and I can’t recommend this hidden gem in Cypress enough. View menu

Nara Thia is a hidden gem in Cypress. Although we don’t dine out often, we've made it a weekly tradition to visit this restaurant! The service is top-notch, and the food is outstanding! I wish I could give it more than five stars. Everything we've sampled from the menu has been fantastic. The curries are packed with rich flavors and you can customize the spice levels. We particularly love the green and red curries with chicken. Highly recommend giving them a try!

I visited with my dining out club FEAST. Several of us were trying Thai food for the first time. Everyone loved everything we had. The food was phenomenal. We shared dishes and everyone like all the food. The chicken curry puff are great. TRY them! Some other highlights were the Bold and Spicy Red Curry, Garlic Chicken, and Home Style Pad Kra Pow. I would recommend trying them, you will enjoy it! And you can color on the table cloth which is fun, and they post some of the great artwork on the walls by the restroom..FUN!

"Our first visit to the restaurant last night came highly recommended, thanks to a friend's glowing review of their vegan menu. We were pretty excited and ordered two vegan meatball subs. The trouble began when we waited for nearly 25 minutes after placing our order. Our server, a guy named Ryan (I think), came over and told us they were all out of vegan meatballs. Naturally, we asked why it took so long for them to figure this out, which seemed to fluster poor Ryan a bit. However, he was polite throughout the conversation. We decided to switch our order to one regular meatball sub and a vegan eggplant sub, thinking all was well. But, surprise, surprise, Ryan returned a few minutes later to tell us they were also out of eggplant. At this point, we had been waiting for almost 40 minutes with no food in sight, so we asked for the check to pay for the soda my husband had been nursing. Here's why the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths: 1. Why in the world didn't the waitstaff know about these shortages in advance? It seems like basic communication within the restaurant was seriously lacking. Customers shouldn't be left hanging, wondering if they'll actually get what they ordered. 2. It's kind of baffling that Ryan was left to break the bad news not just once, but twice. You'd think the manager, who we saw chatting with other diners just a few feet away, would have taken the initiative to come over and speak to us directly. 3. I was made to feel like I should be really grateful they decided not to charge us for the Diet Coke my husband drank. Overall it was a terrible experience and no effort was made to rectify what happened. I obviously cannot comment on the food since we never recieved any. As for customer service...HORRIBLE!"
