"The hostel is really excited about the village and really allows to disconnect from the urban atmosphere. Access to the hostel is a little chaotic and narrow. The hostel is Breton style and the boss is welcoming and very friendly. The kitchen is good, the products are good and fresh, but the menu is limited to a few dishes (only a typical dish of region on the whole map. The room where we spent our stay is upstairs above the restaurant room. The furniture is very old and the decoration is old. The black point: the cleaning (presence of dust in the room, the commons and the dining room, moulding in the bathroom . I timidly recommend this inn, although the staff is smiling, welcoming and the kitchen is of quality (according to the ordered dish). Nearby activities: Ville de Saint-Malo 5 minutes Grand Aquarium de Saint-Malo 3 minutes Mont Saint Michel 45 minutes"

We spent a very good time at the Auberge de la Porte: smiling welcome, excellent home-based dinner based on local products, impeccable service and chef à petits soins. The room was spacious and the top breakfast with croissant, fresh bread and homemade jams. We also enjoyed tourist suggestions. An address to be recommended:

I had lunch at the Auberge de la Porte in October, during my holidays in Brittany, I discovered a pleasant setting and very good food. Entrance and sea, foie gras, magret drying, andouillette, saumon, and tuna and magrets rillette and Andouillette, dish, duck magrets super tender with its gratin of potatoes and then dessert, a pure discovery, a pear of panna cotta, tip of whisky and turmeric for my husband. A superior meal in quality and price. Thanks to the cook and the waitresses.

We came to make our smartbox (3 delicious days in love). At our arrival, the welcome was cordial but what disappointment! No heating and discovering the unfathomed room, surprise, the summer was laid on 4 bricks, very old old socks under the bed, very old blanket, sanitary and taps having made its time, no shutters, nor curtains in the bathroom ....We discussed it with the owner who did not look more shocked than that, we asked for another room but refused! Totally disappointed, we turned around (a total of 550 km in the meter). We therefore understand the dissatisfaction of some customers. We do not recommend this establishment.
