"Fabulous night. I loved the entire experience. You first enter via a curved corridor with gorgeous venetian plaster that you HAVE to touch. You can 't see the restaurant. Then, there it is. Curved concrete ceiling, beautiful wood and banquette. Very dimly lit but just perfect. At least in my opinion. They also managed to keep noise level very manageable. It 's understatedly elegant with clearly a lot of consideration in curating menu/material/shapes/etc. The menu is small plates with innovative flavors/flavor combo but nothing seems trying too hard . All very good. We absolutely loved the crispy rice and the pesto udon. Desert selection is a bit small but not that much an issue. Small but good selection of wine at very decent price. Refreshing, for a change! Anyway, I would certainly go back."

This was my first time dining in Brooklyn, NY, and it lived up to the positive reviews I read on Google. It was very good.

Very cool space, good cocktails. Food was also very good, only downside was the charcuterie platter which had 4 small pieces of ham

my favorite by far. the coworkers are amazing, the place is nice to die cocktails. hard to find such bars. good amount, too, at every night, and eating! unreal. I bring all I know here, and they love it. highly recommended.

Awesome vibe and drink selection. Unfortunately prices have really gone up in the last year (as many places I know) but it prices them a bit out of the area relatively speaking. HH severely reduced too from two years ago in selection. They also still run a stricter than most masking Covid policy that’s not in line with the city rules nor neighboring bars (as of this review date)

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
