"I 'm truly surprised with the amount of great reviews this place has! First off the service is horrible! Our waiter never checked on us really. When we asked for a milkshake the just made a noise like eeeeekkkk uhhhhh then said the machine is broken. Unprofessional and should 've just told us instead of making noises. Then said they were out of wagyu. Like? There not many options on menu it 's a burger place so how are you out of wagyu? I 'm not sure how everyone around us who sat down after us got their food before us. The people next to us got there 15 minutes after us, finished their food, sat while they finished their drinks, and paid the bill all before we even got our food. Took 30 minutes for our waiter to come to us to pay the bill when he was in the back on his phone. Waiter also tried to take my fries away before asking if I was done with them (keep in mind we had over half a plate of fries left). When we finally paid the bill and left the waiter saw our empty cups of water and said oh man! I didn 't even know you guys needed more water haha . Not a good response as a waiter when you neglected us so much you didn 't even know we have been out of water. Food was mediocre. The fried pickles were so dry and flavorless it just tasted like eating batter. The toppings on the fries were so skimpy for the price! The burger was just okay and kind of dry"

Great unique food, amazing service, and amazing music! It was also very modern looking, and was epic to be at in a not-so-busy location!

Continued fabulous experiences with BB, Hell's Kitchen!! Couldn't take photos/vid of my food because I ate it way too fast. LOL It's too hard not to do so. Thanks so much for another fantastic meal, BB! -Kat

The meat at this restaurant is incredible, and the burgers are delicious. The onion rings are crispy and the garlic sauce complements them perfectly. The Wrangler burger with bacon and truffle frizzled onions is even more amazing.

This burger joint is superb. Great customer service. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about everything on the me (plus more than happy to adjust to your dietary needs/allergies). The food here is 10/10 the burgers are really delicious. I'd recommend going during happy hour for the drinks too! View menu

We discovered this burger joint on our first night in Niny, as we hurried by and saw it bustling with people as we passed by. We stopped for dinner and loved it, a typical American spot with delicious burgers and very attentive service. Also, a very good quality-price ratio for the area it's located in.

Stopped in for a quick bite before a Broadway show. For some reason I thought this was a fast casual (ie order at the counter) spot, but it's sit-down table service only (though you can get takeout). I ordered an impossible burger and sweet potato fries, both of which were great. The fries were especially good. Service was friendly.

I gave the Supreme Burger with grass-fed elk a shot. It was decent, but nothing particularly remarkable. I found the patties to be too thick for my taste, making the burger a bit dry. Even the addition of onion rings and French fries didn't elevate the flavor. I ended up spending over $20 for a mediocre burger. Perhaps they have other options that are better, but I won't be choosing this one again. View menu

Right off the rip, the ambience is cool. My son and I spent the weekend in NYC and stayed in Hell's Kitchen. He has celiac and it's always tough finding a good place to eat that can accommodate us. Bareburger was that place. Wait staff were very attentive, pleasant and understanding. We both had the Americana Wagyu that was the juiciest of burgs. The drinks were top notch! And because my son can never get it, he had a GF fried chicken burger to go. Of course, it was awesome!

I went to the Bareburger in Hell's Kitchen on a Saturday before a show and was very satisfied. We started with the fried pickles and brussel sprouts which were AMAZING, and then had a double cheeseburger for my entree which was beyond delicious. To make the experience even better, they have a drink special every day and the spicy margarita were only $7. There are so many restaurants in the area, so I normally don't have super high expectations, but this place impressed me. The service was incredible and the establishment was very clean and welcoming as well. I also appreciate them listing the calorie counts, which helped during my annual January diet.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
