"Rose, I’m just disappointed. At the beginning of the semester, I thought you had really changed; new recipes, better food, and more options. But now, I don’t even want to step foot in that dining hall because of the lack of effort and quality. Rose, I hate to say this, but the lunches now suck, and the dinners are hardly any better. How is it that the most appetizing thing you serve are boneless wings aka chicken nuggets? Can you not cook some actual food? Do better! If you’re feeling uninspired or lost, take some notes from Cook House because they’re doing big things over there. It’s a real shame they’re only open for dinner. It just blows my mind how Rose can serve the same exact dish as some other houses yet yours tastes like cat food and Cook’s food slaps harder than my Dad."

The dining staff was rude during my visit. This is the second time I've experienced this issue, and it hasn't occurred at any other dining hall except for Keeton.

Thank you to the dining staff at Keeton House for all your hard work; I truly appreciate it! I have one small request: could you please serve breakfast items on Saturdays?

The best dining hall on west no doubt... I see why it’s called “cook” house now, bc whoever in the kitchen whipping it up knows what they’re doing. The food is the best, the people are so nice and really give you a good amount of food. Never change Cook. View menu

The food is spectacular and the service is great, but my only complaint is the music may a little too loud because on two occasions so far, the servers didn’t hear me properly and gave me the wrong food. Regardless, the food still tastes fantastic and everyone is nice!

They now require a reservation for some reason, even when the dining hall is empty. They cycle the same meals every other week. Most the workers there just look miserable, don’t even say hi, and barely serve me any food. I didn’t know we were rationing out here .. I’m hungry, I pay hella for this food, so hook it up.

"My girlfriend and I decided to take a romantic getaway on the finger lakes and our drive had us passing through Ithaca, so we decided to stop for dinner. A good friend recommended this place, and admittedly I was skeptical of Italian food this far from New York City, but I trust their recommendations and decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. For our wine selection, our server allowed us to sample one of the wines by the glass, which tasted thin. When we described what we wanted, she came back with a reasonably priced bottle that exactly hit the deep red notes that we were looking for (see the picture for the winery vintage if interested . We started with the crostini sampler. In my opinion, the Caponata was the best, but they were all interesting to try and I was glad we got all three. As a nice touch, they cut each crostini in half so my girlfriend and I could both easily sample each one. For dinner, I had the grilled hanger steak, which came with rapini and shoestring fries. I admittedly gave an annoyingly long description of how I wanted it cooked (essentially rare+ and they nailed it. The steak was fantastic, but the accompaniments were so good that they almost stole the show. The shoestring fries’ rosemary seasoning was a fun twist and the rapini was both familiar (garlic and olive oil and excitingly different. For dessert, I had what was essentially espresso mousse with graham crackers and a glass of dessert wine. While probably the weakest course, it was still a delicious way to cap an amazing meal. The mousse required a bit more texture, but fortunately they provided graham crackers on the side (which I suggest crumbling into the mousse . I’d highly recommend checking this place out if you happen to be in the area."
