"We were so thrilled to find a restaurant that could accommodate a large group for my birthday (14 adults, 2 kids), but after dining there, it was clear why the place was empty: while the waitress we had was nice, the one of the servers did not look happy to be there serving us coffee. To add to that, even though I mentioned in my reservation that this was for a birthday, and that we would likely need a few separate checks, no one called to confirm anything or tell us that 1) having a cake would incur a $3 per person charge (even if we were providing the cake and doing the cutting ourselves) and 2) separate checks was apparently impossible. The owner was not very friendly or accommodating, and blamed his staff for confirming that we could do separate checks when they really couldn 't (which is ridiculous, considering today 's technology and the fact that they utilize the same system that other restaurants use--that CAN separate the checks). The food was decent but well overpriced considering the quality and the service, so I will most definitely not be back."

Absolutely amazing, just like always. This is my fourth visit and I can't wait to come back for at least four more! View menu

I was very disappointed that the Belgian Beer Café NoMad discontinued serving oysters. Not just happy hour $1 oysters but no longer is serving oysters at all. The food is quite good and the beer selection is wonderful.

there is so many great restaurants in NYC, this one is NOT one of them. Food is mediocre. Beer is fine, but it's from Belgium, not NYC. I took my Swedish friend there for lunch and I was embarrassed. Will never go back P.S. Oh, and the bathrooms are awful! Shame!

This restaurant is large and airy, creating a comfortable environment for diners to enjoy a quiet conversation. The beer selection is fantastic, making it a great spot to gather with friends. The prices are reasonable, making it a good value for the quality of food and service. I highly recommend it! View menu

What a great place! I reserved a table for a party. Everyone we met at the restaurant was so kind, helpful and gracious. The food was amazing as well. I would definitely recommend the Brussel sprouts and the beef stew. They also have an amazing selection of beers. All of my friends raves about how great the good was and how nice our server, hostess and manager were. I will definitely go back.

The food at this restaurant was quite disappointing. We ordered a shaved Brussels sprout and kale salad as well as a Caesar salad, but both were mainly comprised of kale with very little dressing and were missing some of the other ingredients listed on the menu. The Salad Nicoise also fell short, with just two pieces of cold tuna steak on a small bed of lettuce and boiled potatoes. Bread was not served until we asked multiple times, and it only arrived at the end of the meal. The service was inattentive throughout the meal. Overall, it was a very average lunch experience at a restaurant that is typically known for better quality.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
