"This restaurant has an amazing staff. They are some of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of speaking to. As far as the food it is mostly subpar. I loved the vegetable pakoras but the love of the food stopped with that. My wife had the malai Kofta and saag paneer, I had the chicken Tikka masala and the butter chicken. The gravy for each dish tasted very similar and verrrry sweet which is unlike most Indian cuisine. The sweetness of each dish took away from the tastiness factor that I usually look forward to with a variety of dishes. I wouldn't say its not worth going to I just will not be returning. Thank you to the staff for making the experience a wonderful one but I would definitely go on to say tweak your recipes."

Food is excellent and the price is good for what you get. This place is the first Indian restaurant I had ever tried and it is the best.

The food was amazing. The chicken saag, medium heat hit the spot I didn’t know was there. And definitely recommend the garlic basil naan. View menu

Not a bad place if you want a quick taste of Indian cuisine. To be honest if recommend several restaurants in SLC and one in west valley for fantastic Indian.

Mango curry was yummy! Plenty of flavor and balance of sweet savory. The rice was a little undercooked for my preference and the mango lassi a tad over priced but overall I really enjoyed this meal! View menu

Food and service were both just okay. There are better Indian restaurants in the area. I'm not an expert in Indian cuisine, I'll certainly admit that. However, I felt that The flavor left something to be desired. It was clean though and service was relatively quick in bringing the food.

Pretty good place for Indian food. I've had better but I've also had MUCH worse. They're better than about 75% of the Indian places I've visited. We usually get Saag and Bombay Bites' version is pretty good. Garlic Naan was a little light on the garlic which I'm sure some people like. A hair under-cooked though but still good enough to hold together while eating with the Saag. The lamb was quality though, not fatty and well cooked so it was a good flavor and consistency. Wait staff was polite, attentive, and accurate. Pricing was average for Indian food in the SLC/Ogden area. Definitely will return!

"Laan Thai provides a truly authentic Thai ambience, complemented by exquisite decorations and warm, inviting lighting. Each table is graced with a small light, setting a pleasant, cozy tone for the evening. However, the restaurant's temperature settings might need a reconsideration, particularly during the frosty Logan January, as the chilly environment left something to be desired in terms of comfort. The wait staff at Laan Thai are undoubtedly warm and welcoming, providing a friendly face upon entry. Nevertheless, the restaurant seems to be grappling with staffing adequacy, leading to prolonged wait times for service. Additionally, while the effort is appreciated, language barriers somewhat hindered the effective communication of menu details and recommendations.Food:Satay The satay chicken impresses with its rich flavors and a delightful sweet and sour peanut sauce accompaniment. However, the dish falls short of perfection due to the over-dried nature of the chicken, detracting from the overall experience.Pad Thai with A standout dish at Laan Thai, the Pad Thai with Pork captivates with its chewy, well-seasoned rice noodles. The dish is a near-perfect rendition of this classic, with the only slight disappointment being the dryness of the pork.Roasted Duck This dish is a visual treat, beautifully presented with vibrant curry and fresh vegetables. However, similar to the other meat dishes, the duck's dryness prevents this curry from reaching its full potential. In conclusion, while Laan Thai excels in creating a genuine Thai atmosphere and offers some delectable choices, there's room for improvement in both service efficiency and consistency in the preparation of their meat dishes."
