"Negative Review. So, we had stayed away from Botika because of the abysmal service, or the ability to get the food to the table for all the guests at the same time. Last time we ate with friends, at Botika, my husband never received his entree. Mine arrived 20 mins after our friends received their meals. It was brought to the attention of management, at the time. So, we thought, lets give them another try. We were so positive. The restaurant was mostly empty inside. We were seated opposite the cooking area. It was freezing. So cold, I had to get a winter wrap. I ordered a Caipirinha. I received a Cabernet. It was nice, I did bring it to the servers attention and she offered to change it. I chose to drink the Cabernet. The Shrimp ceviche was delicious. My husband enjoyed his meal. My meal arrived 15 minutes after his meal. The fries were forgotten. The server apologized. We wont go back. I told the server that we would not be back. No one from management came to see us. No we didn 't ask to see the manager, because there is no point. They apologize but nothing changes. Its not OK to watch your family eat, while you sit there. Then they are finished and here comes your meal! In my opinion, there should be less yes Chef in the cooking area, and more sending out orders complete. It would also have been a respectful move, to take a drink or an appetizer off the bill."

The food was very good, but the service wasn’t great. Our server was was fine, but one of our entrees came out long before the other and our appetizers came out after the first entree. Our server didn’t deliver the food, so we couldn’t talk to her about it. We found it a little odd. Also, we received a different flavor sorbet than we asked for. The food was delicious, I just wonder if they need more help.
