"I found this place purely by accident. I went in with low expectations having never heard about it before being new to the area, thinking the name was a bit too similar to Dairy Queen and it is very unassuming looking, but I was blown away. My favorite flavor by far is Graham Central Station, which I’ve only ever had and enjoyed at J. Renee in Avon. I figured I would give their version a try expecting it to be an ‘okay’ substitution, but it was every bit as good if not even better than J. Renee’s. The ice cream base was rich, creamy, and perfectly flavored and the chocolate covered graham cracker pieces were light and crunchy. The hot fudge was thick and rich and the perfect addition. We also got their moose tracks and plain vanilla and both were superb. It is unfortunate that I stopped by three days before they closed for the season because now I have to wait until spring for them to open again! "I first tried this place about 8 months ago , and, have been back at least monthly since. The place is very clean, great atmosphere, and the food is excellent— huge portions, reasonably priced. If you order an appotizer be prepared to take a lot home! I wish kids menu was cheaper as my grandchildren love this place, but for some reason kids prices seem high? Despite this, I can only sing the praises of this place and the pleasant staff. A new favorite restaurant! plenty of parking in back."

"Hit or miss. Our last meal was pretty disappointing both in terms of food and service. The chicken in my 8 Chicken Parm grinder was only slightly larger than one of their chicken fingers(I should have put one side by side to compare). I don't mindpaying more and having the chicken actually fill the bread, but when they do this, even if the price is less, I feel ripped off.Service was a disaster, but given the times we're in at least she showed up to work."

"The food is really good and comes out decently quickly, but it seems they're not ready to attend many people at once. We were there a Sunday evening and all the tables were full (that's about 40 people) they only had 2 waiters attending the tables andthey forgot to take orders, you had to ask them for things twice and they kept forgetting to come back. If they add a couplemore people the place will be excelente!"

"Knowing I wanted to try this place, I decided yesterday for lunch, would be great! My 13 year old daughter was not wanting to go. I offered to let her stay in the car, knowing sh wouldn't. Walking in, we were greeted by Tanya, who was wonderful! The atmosphere is so welcoming! The decor is beautiful and homey. My daughter ordered the chicken quesadilla with a side of potato salad. I ordered the lemon garlic chicken, over tomato orzo (I don't like lemon chicken...I felt a need to try this , with a cup of the soup of the day, beef vegetable (something I never order or buy! . My daughter and I loved the soup so much, we ordered another to go! Our meals were amazing! Everything if fresh from scratch/homemade! Something to keep in mind, tell them the amount of tip you would like to add, prior to them processing your debit/credit. I didn't know this prior to paying and felt awful. So, to rectify this, we went back for dinner and brought more people! I had the Philly steak and cheese omelette (breakfast served all day! , with home fries and rye toast (homemade bread! . Daughter had a Caesar salad and cup of the soup again. Mom and her boyfriend ordered the meatloaf special served with mashed potato and carrots. They too were incredibly impressed and will be back! Mark's is a true gem in Thompsonville!"
