"Visited from out of state. Broadway Bistro is a very special place and a must when in Nyack and a reason to travel to Nyack. Upon entry you are greeted and welcomed. The space is bright and the staff work in harmony. The chef owner John makes food that is creative, thoughtful and shows his passion for his profession. We thoroughly enjoyed his Easter special menu. The smoked salmon coronet with beet salsa was vibrant and great start to meal. The lobster ravioli was a dish reimagined. One would never think grapes would pair with lobster but they added a brightness and balance to the delicious sauce with Italian bacon. Oh my a delicious harmony on plate. Each dish prepared your tastebuds for what's to come. So memorable we will be talking about this restaurant for a long time. Those who live in area so lucky and definitely should visit. Thank you John and your team"

Tried it for restaurant week and I'm so glad. I will for sure be returning. Every single bite was absolutely scrumptious and the service was excellent. The place is really cute too! View menu

Lovely atmosphere for fine dining. The food was excellent. We had the flat iron steak with mashed potatoes. Dessert was cheese cake and flourless chocolate cake with white chocolate mouse.

I genuinely feel my money is well spent and my business is appreciated when I dine here solo, or with friends family. The bar is a cozy vibe, and the portions are wonderful for a shared table or have some now and save some for later. The beet salad, butternut squash ravioli(home made), pesto, wine selection, seafood meats are fresh and hand selected by the present proprietor chef. 5 STARS!

A real gem of a place that I'll sincerely miss. Every ingredient is so fresh it just tastes in every bite. The drinks are delicious and a throw back to when making cocktails was an art form. I had their strawberry cocktail and it was perfect. The chicken thigh, carrots, and potatoes were a joy in every bite. Service was 5 stars all the way. Wishing everyone there the very best! May whoever takes over that space live up to Broadway Bistro! It was a great ride. Although people should avoid Patio on Broadway down the road. View menu

It's rare that I write a review without complaint, but there was a beautifully presented beet salad with a goat cheese and lemon, croquette and chicken. That was delicious. Before I was served my main plate, I was served a beautiful brioche warm roll. I was treated perfectly by the weight staff and by the bartender and given time to enjoy my meal. They also offer a 3-course lunch that was extremely reasonable in price. I would strongly recommend trying this restaurant because you'll want to go back and try more dishes that they have. They have a really nice menu and the service was first class which is really something that contributes to the dining experience.

Good food atmosphere, but not great. Tri e ot fo restaurant week. Food was well prepared, just not too exciting, without interesting seasoning. The shrimp scallop had nicely seared scallop, with Al dente linguine. Dessert was strawberries with whip cream. Again nice homemade whip cream, but nothing special that I would expect from an expensive restaurant. Atmosphere needs updating lighting is well placed, but someone saved money and put in harsh white LED lights, which just ruin any romantic feeling. Other aspects are similar. All told, a solid dining experience, good food. Just not super exciting. For that special dinner you won't go wrong, but can do better in Nyack.

"I live in Nanuet and usually go to the Nanuet diner which I've always felt the people at the Nanuet diner are always courteous and very friendly. We decided to have a family lunch on Sunday, 3/27/22. We had family coming from Woodbury Commons and Westchester so we choose the Orangetown Diner as a central place for a Sunday get together. The Orangetown Diner has a good system for texting you when your table is ready and had nice keyboard entertainer for live soft music which was a nice touch at a diner. We had mixed reviews on the food as half our party liked their meal and the other half disliked what was served. Our biggest disappointment was with the way we were treated. There was no effort for good customer service and our waiter wasn't interested in using common courtesy for our table. We are a blue collar family, one of our party was a waitress for over 10 years and were always considerate, patient and understanding of how busy waiters are and how hard their job is in general, We were also raised to always say Thank You and use our manners with everyone. Asked for water for the table multiple times and it never came, asked for a second glass of soda and had to wait over 10 minutes to remind the waiter for the soda, no straws for the drinks after multiple requests for straws, ended up drinking the sodas directly from the glasses. My sister who was a waitress ordered a meal and requested a bagel instead of the bread it was made on, she explained how she wanted it 3 times and the waiter said they had bagels and it could be served with the bagel instead. The food came out in stages with 2 of the 5 meals coming out first, 10 minutes later the next 2 of the 5 came out but my sisters meal had not yet showed up. So while waiting for hers she insisted we start eating by the time her meal came out the rest of us were about 80% done. Then when her meal came out it had the original bread not the bagel she requested and to my surprise she responded to the waiter really, we went through this 3 times and he replied oh, I thought you meant a bagel on the side so my sister fully frustrated at this point said oh really, then where's the bagel on the side which he never brought out. All of these things are not the main reason for my low rating, it's mainly because of the lack of common courtesy from the staff. Like I said we always say Thank You and please but not one You're Welcome or is there anything else I can get for you? Just reaching across peoples faces to plop down plates and turning their backs to walk away from the table. On the way out I left a tip for the keyboard player, he was wonderful playing soft music with a smile on his face and a little laugh all the time we were there. Left a 20% tip for the waiter because I don't believe in taking out our bad experience on one person. When asked by the person behind the desk how was everything I gave them my honest opinion which I hope they shared with the Owner/Manager. Maybe it's a teaching moment on how important it is to be nice to people especially customer service where you show you value your customer. Disappointing customer service and appreciation. Spent over $100 for a family lunch and left with one of our party never getting their meal and the rest of us still waiting for water for the table..."
