"I have scoured the east coast looking for a similar roti, because no one will go with me into this area of West Philly to get another, and as a young white chick with little street sense, it's probably not smart for me to go alone. Sigh. I tried their roti, deliciously packed with curried potatoes, peas, and mock meat, when someone brought me takeout. I desperately want to return. It is so good, and such a rarity to find a place that sells Caribbean roti with a mock meat option. I haven't found any others! Definitely try this place. Good, inexpensive, delicious."

The curry goat at this restaurant is fantastic! I also really enjoyed the beef patties, they were amazing.

Friendly atmosphere. Delicious food well-prrpared and not overly seasoned (salty). I have dined in, taken out and used delivery.

The food is delicious when you can actually get it. They should consider posting a daily menu. The customer service could use some improvement as well. View menu

One of my favorite places to eat in West Philly! If you can, visit on a day when they're serving doubles, and definitely try their soya—it's fantastic!

The food was incredible! I ordered the beef and goat roti, and it was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed it immediately while sitting in my car. It was truly a delight!

This hidden gem has definitely sparkled 52nd St. A clean, friendly atmosphere made my visit more enticing. The currant rolls, rock bun and bread pudding reminded my of 'home '..... and the Thyme plants where indicative of the love that was shared there. See you next time View menu

Among many options, I chose this restaurant, and it truly embodies Trinidadian culture. Every dish reminded me of my trip to Kingston. The oxtail was some of the best I've ever had, and they served it in a generous portion. The prices were very reasonable, and I definitely plan to return.

Does this look like goat roti to you? That's because it isn't! I didn't get what I paid for; instead, I received a dry, overcooked, and flavorless chicken roti. Why is it so difficult to find a decent roti place in Philadelphia? It’s frustrating! Since I was hungry, I tried to eat this dry chicken roti, and it was awful. The first bite was just a mouthful of pepper and thyme stems. Please, Caribbean restaurants, do better for your customers. I'm willing to spend good money for something I didn't have to spend time cooking at home.

"Fantastic neighborhood gem. Food was flavorful, cozy, inviting, and fun. Not fussy or arrogant, but cooked with love, execution, and straight from the heart. My favorite was the Burrata dish, a cold cheese dish with the seductively sumptuous balsamic glaze and the best thinsliced prosciutto I ever had thankfully not too salty as it was packed with flavor. The bread was fantastic for mopping up the rich tomato based seafood app.My wife and I loved the seafood spaghetti dish, although the dark brown think buckwheat spaghetti surprised us at first. The rich white wine broth and clams were fantastic, but the noodles were perplexing and intriguing and fantastic!. The whole wheat made it seem like it might be tough but it was smooth and chewy, while still hearty. And yet it almost felt too soft and about melt, although there was a firm elasticity to it! The scallops risotto was rich and decadent. Temp was good. The service was good, the outdoor ambience was wonderful, the napkin's bluegray hue resonated with my wife, and the plates were gorgeous.Overall, it was excellent and worthy of going back and recommending to friends and family. The meal may not have been technically flawless the delicious octopus could stand to be grilled or cooked a tad longer, but it was still perfectly authentic, heartfelt, and admirably executed. It straddled the fine line between elevatedelegant and homey. It accomplished what it set out to do and delivered on what one would expect! We live outside the city, so we won't be able to visit often, which may be good, because this is such a fine neighborhood establishment—if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be in danger of blowing my monthly dining budget"
