"I have traveled extensively across the U.S., and after a stressful drive from D.C., I was delighted to discover this wonderful little diner right off the Jersey Turnpike. I could have opted for any chain restaurant and had the same meal I could find 6,000 miles away, but I'm glad I didn't. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly and seated promptly. The service was quick and friendly. The food came out a little faster than expected, but that didn't matter; the portions were generous, and the quality was fantastic. To my surprise, my order included dessert, which was a nice touch. After thousands of miles of travel across the country, I would highly recommend making a stop here. It truly reminded me of what a dining experience should be. Thank you!"

Today was my first time ordering at this restaurant and all I can say is that the food is done quick, great, and the people that work there are amazing. Perfect place to come to for breakfast and/or after a long day at work 10/10

The food is excellent ?. The service, on the other hand, is less than par. Coffee is $2.50 a cup with free refills if you can get the server's attention to get one or cream and sugar for that matter. But the food was really good.Food: 5/5 View menu

One of my favorite places in Carteret Nj. I came to visit this place many times and missed coming to have a nice. lunch with family and friends. I live here for almost 20 years. You can never go wrong by checking this place and the service is excellent. I can't wait to visit this place ? again

This is a dream diver. Great fresh food, friendly and fast service, good coffee with fast refills and good mood. They were also related to nutritional restrictions. My fiancée ordered the feta spinach omelette and one side of the pancakes and I got the veggie omelette and one side of the sausage. All dishes were really good and to the point.

The food is good, but the prices are getting excessive. A grilled cheese sandwich was nearly $7, and that was without fries—just the sandwich, a quarter slice of pickle, and a tiny portion of coleslaw that no one really wants. A Greek salad was $15, and honestly, it's mostly just lettuce! I don't think I'll be ordering from them again anytime soon. Food: 5/5. View menu

Was there on Friday right after breakfast. Would have been 5 stars but the corned beef was boiled and tough on a toasted bread. We then got something different. The staff of the Bus Stop is usually great. Our waitress had an attitude. And the place wasn't busy when we got there. Last year I raved about this place. The food is good. My replacement quesadilla was excellent. And thanks to the man for bussing the tables. He got me a box. The rest of the staff was very friendly.

This was usually my go to place for breakfast. Food is good wait staff, depending on who you get phenomenal to ok. Went there Christmas Eve for breakfast and was unforgivable. Waited 20 minutes for coffee and over an hour an a half for breakfast. Waitress was overwhelmed even though diner was not so crowded. After waiting for an hour told waitress still did not get food. She looked so frustrated and overwhelmed. I could understand a person having a bad day but when I mentioned to owner when paying bill that I waited over an hour and a half he said that's not bad.
