"We decided to eat here after we waited to get along the way in the Over Easy. You told us an hour. Then 40 minutes later told us an hour. About Easy just lied about the waiting period that they told us a half hours when we put our name on the list. Lie. You couldn't even tell a Mexican about another one at our party! They claimed to have told one of us twice about waiting, but two different people asked at different times. I would like to stress how frustrating this experience was. They weren't understandable and more upset that we wanted to eat there. SUCK EGGS. Tacos Los Altos was the opposite. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. You get great food cheap. Our big group immediately got food and could sit together. If you want a good experience, you want to eat in the Tacos Los Altos. They won't be disappointed."

"Well, we had really high hopes. I 've heard so many folks talk about how great this place is and I frequent their sister Proper Meats. The photos looked great, the menu sounded amazing. We decided to splurge for our anniversary, and well, it was pretty disappointing. 1) service was lack luster. Maybe saw our server 3 times that night. She never even asked us if we wanted another glass of wine. 2) we reserved a table outside. The weather was perfect. The concrete patio...not so much. We had a nice little slope to contend with which made the chairs and table wobbly. 3) Someone previously stated they were disappointed that they received 4 small slices of duck breast...well, we only got 2 slices (about 4 bites worth for $38) and a sad salad with it. The fish was good, portioned appropriately but nothing to brag about. Sadly, all the food needed salt. We left for another establishment for drinks and dessert to celebrate. Unfortunately, due to the experience we had, we won 't be back again."

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"We both decided to try the 3-course tasting menu at this restaurant. However, we were instructed to hold off on choosing our dessert until after our meal, as the tasting menu came with two lackluster dessert options. The food we tried was both intriguing and delicious. After completing the first two courses, we were presented with a larger dessert menu that did not include either of the desserts we had seen on the tasting menu. The server made some suggestions and we made our selections. To our surprise, when we received the bill, we were charged the full price for the desserts, as well as for what we later realized was only a 2-course tasting menu. This was not the great value we had initially thought. In our opinion, the server should have been more transparent about the dessert options instead of switching them up on us."

"i was very excited to go try out this spot as i looove upscale experimental dining especially in my hometown of flagstaff! the atmosphere is very nice and i enjoy their rustic yet modern aesthetic. first: a member of my party did not enjoy their pasta entree and wanted something else. with only a bite taken out if it, they took it back and brought her a salad which she enjoyed BUT they still charged us for BOTH DISHES! like whatever but at least let us know so the rest of the party could potentially enjoy the dish that was payed for. anyways when it comes to the dining, i can sum it up by saying that being experimental with quality ingredients doesn’t mean for your foods going to be good. same with the drinks. the pork chop was the best dish, and the appetizers (muscle toast and bread platter) were also phenomenal. the pumpkin rib dish was also very good, but the proportions from meat to complimenting components was way off (sooo much pumpkin). the lamb pasta was season-less, though if eaten with every component (again though the portions were very off) it was a decent meal. but if the meat can’t carry the flavor then it’s not for me. the fries were AMAZING and their sauces are also very well done. but the burger was unfortunately dry. semi-flavorful, but again very nice ingredients with no flavor maxing. i had to use the fry dipping sauces to eat it, which then made it actually quite enjoyable. the pasta was sent back (though i tried it and actually REALLY enjoyed it. the Parmesan crisp idea is actually very lovely and the filling was done great) the wedge salad was also very good, loved the saltiness and the dressing was light yet creamy. the drinks were also quite good but still not on par with other cocktail craft-eries charging similar if not lower prices. the drinks seemed wayyy experimental and just weren’t that appealing for a fine dining establishment. all in all, solid food, alright drinks, but not worth the price when compared to many other local fine-dining establishments in the same market. worth a try if you’ve got the money ! Kid-friendliness: Wouldn’t bring your kids"
