Recently, they started offering Vietnamese dishes, and we believe this is the best Vietnamese food we've had in the area (and we've sampled many other Vietnamese restaurants!). "Quite literally the BEST food I have ever had! I have lived in Scottsdale, Chicago and NYC and this is some of the best and most innovative food ever! Chris was our server and told us all about the history of the place and had the best recommendations for the menu. He and all of the staff were SO kind and told us about the owner's wife who had just had her first child after overcoming stage 4 cancer! His passion and kindness added to the great ambience. Zoe was the bartender and made the BEST Pumpkin Espresso Martini EVER. My boyfriend and I could not stop thinking about it, so we went back for New Years Eve to have it again and tried the Tiramisu Martini, which was also AMAZING!"

"We were here for lunch and to get our pub pass stamped. The patio was pretty full when we were there, but there was plenty of room to dine in. The host and service were prompt. I had the Crushin' On Amber and my wife had the Bulldog Blonde for drinks. Weboth enjoyed the beers. I had the Spicy Chicky Sammy which I enjoyed. I like some heat and spice, but it was almost a bit toomuch for me. The Oh No! was the other sandwich that we had. The fries were good especially with the homemade ranch for dipping.We both came away full and would go back."

"Fresh Med is our new go-to place when getting takeout. The food is delicious and seems much healthier than your typical fast food. Online ordering is a bit confusing the first time, but it is definitely the way to go. The drive thru is a nice idea, but they should really have people drive around to the parking lot after ordering, because otherwise the drive thru gets backed up with only 2 or 3 cars. When I order on my phone, I pay with Google pay which is super slick, and the food is always done faster than the estimate. They also have curbside pickup which works really well."

"If you're in the Des Moines area, Kue'd Smokehouse is the go-to BBQ joint for the surrounding region. The food quality is spot-on, delivering the authentic BBQ experience that sets the bar for smokehouse cuisine. The restaurant's ambiance adds to the charm, creating a cozy small-town atmosphere that I absolutely appreciate. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by Travis, who I believe was a manager or team member. His genuine enthusiasm for my visit and his expert recommendations made my dining experience even more enjoyable. The smoked turkey and brisket were simply incredible--perfectly tender, bursting with flavor, and leaving no room for improvement. For sides, I couldn't resist trying the Mac Cheese, which, in my opinion, is the best I've ever had. (No exaggeration! The Street Corn Salad was a delightful accompaniment to the meal, complementing the flavors perfectly. I'm already considering making it a regular order. Overall, I had an amazing experience at Kue'd Smokehouse. I'll definitely be back soon!"
