great hamburger. that is quite long, but it is worth it for the hamburgers. will be coming back in any case?

Small town eatery, nothing fancy. Very glad they're open till 7 at least. The Green Chili Cheese Fries were amazing.

Chama Grill best food and worth the drive every time. Have tried almost everything they make and it's Delicious. Andy and crew have great customer service and make it worth your trip . Be sure and stop by when your in Chama if you want a Great meal........

ordered cod fish sandwich, friito pee, vanilla milk shake and amazed by the quality and fresh of the food! we will often be flyer as we stay here. fish was soou fresh, frito pie was tasteful and vanilla shake tasted like cake! the customer service was super nice and didn't have to wait for my lunch, but it would be worth if we had it too!

Chama Grill was one of two options on a Sunday night after the train trip. Drive through service only was available which was fine for us after being gone all day. The staff person was welcoming and friendly despite it being 15 minutes before their closing time. We ordered the fish sandwich and the deluxe chicken sandwich; both were prepared quickly and delivered to the window with a friendly greeting. Food was well-prepared and tasty. We saw they opened at 11a.m., it was closed but employees inside. We were 1 of 3 customers waiting in parking lot. We decided to wait due to fact we were headed bk to Farmington and wanted a straight shot drive. We had to wait till 11:30 for drive thru to open and it took forever..then by noon were were ready to eat but needed a fork for the smothered tots. My hubby went in, since they now had opened door, asking for forks..20 minutes later..after I had finished my burger..and tots were cold he returned with 1 fork. We will not be stopping there again when we stop in Chama.

chama grill serves one of the best green chile cheeseburger (with speck in new mexico, bar none. the service is great and it is fast, they always get their order right, and their riders are always well seasoned and hot served. if they are exceptionally hungry, ask for the “double” deluxe green chile cheeseburger; they will thank me later. if they are in chama after normal business hours, chama grill can eat one of the last (and best) places in the city, and they are open all year. I make it a point to stop and at midday here when I am in chama. make them please and stop them from chama grill the next time in the city. they will not be disappointed.

So thankful this place was open! We spent two nights in Chama and were surprised to find that all the restaurants (except this one and Subway) were closed by the middle of the afternoon! On a weekend! The train is obviously this town's lifeblood and to be closing restaurants before the train and the return bus arrive back in town is beyond comprehension. So, after cruising the entire town, we settled on the Chama Grill. The dining room was closed, but the drive-thru was open. The wait to order was somewhat long, but when you're hungry and nothing else is open, you'll wait : Thankfully, the food was actually quite delicious and ready by the time we got to the window.
