"First time cheese shopping, other than a grocery store. I Googled this place and read how friendly and teachable the staff was to newcomers to the craft of cheese eating. I explained from the start that I was cheese illiterate. I was never looked down upon for that, and I got a tour of cheese varieties by getting samples and explanations to the regions of the world and milk types that made these cheeses unique and selective. I asked the guy to help me put together a cheese grouping, of 4 or so, for a party that I was having in a few days and walked out of the store smiling from ear to ear. I came back the next day to grab these photos of my newest, favorite store."

Absolutely great food. Will not find any better in Claremont. A little pricey, but well worth it. Try it once and you'll be hooked. One of my favorite little shops in Claremont. Delicious. No other words describe this place. Enjoy.

A charming little shop in a lovely area, offering delicious cheese. My favorite is the affordable vanilla yogurt from Belle Weather Farms. My sister is a huge fan of the Prairie Breeze cheddar; she eats it just like a chocolate bar!

The BEST place to grab high quality, delicious cheese. We love picking up cheese and crackers for a simple date night and they're always so helpful picking out some great options when we have no idea what we're talking about. And the house-made pasta salad is some of the best I've ever had! View menu

The selection was excellent. We enjoyed everything we ordered, which included a couple of Manchego cheeses, a smoked goat cheese, Brie, and a few others. We also tried a Norwegian gjetost, which pairs wonderfully with apples. The other cheeses complemented the assortment of crackers and toasts we purchased perfectly. I can't wait to return for more!

We Love this hiddn gem! Unique food and specialty items including imports. Cheese is their passion and the selection is varied with hard, semi-soft, soft and bries from all over. Super friendly customer service. In non-covid times, samples were always offered store did have more items for sale, but understandably on a smaller scale right now. In Claremont Village.

The owners and staff members are knowledgeable and will guide you in your choices. You can sample cheese selections to make certain you get exactly what you want. Also, the cheese platters they’ll prepare for you are amazing. Love this store! View menu

"It 's not technically a secret menu item, but you need to let them know ahead of time (by at least a few days) if you want to order the Beef Wellington. You might assume that this means it is of a quality that is uniquely exquisite, and I can assure you that this assumption is 100% correct. This dish is literally made in part by a pastry-chef, and the moment you take a bite of the absurdly-delicate shell of I-don 't-even-know-what, you 'll understand why you have to arrange for this sort of treatment: it 's like an opera in your mouth. Underneath that mantle of what I assume is an elevated form of dough reserved for the better seats in heaven, there is a mushroom duxelle that I 'm quite certain would qualify for the dictionary entry if you were to look up the word unctious. Then, the filet. Is there an adequate word in the English language for a perfect medium-rare steak? The best part is that you actually have to be reminded that you 're eating an exquisite piece of beef underneath all of these charms, and it 's only responsible to forewarn you that dipping it in the au jus with which it 's served might just awaken you to a level of luxury you will struggle to equal in other establishments. I won 't even mention how good the wagyu-truffle ravioli was, or how their wedge-salad is served with fully a 3 oz triangle of delicately veined roquefort (bleu cheese) and bacon-bits made of *actual, perfectly cured smoky bits of bacon*. Point being: if you eat meat, this is something you should put on your bucket list. You 're not going to find a better meal anytime soon, after all. 10/10, would recommend."
