"First time there and service and food were exceptional! My wife and I are from LA and are used to waiters not giving a care about service; Jazmine on the other hand was exceptional with her presentation and smile. She really made an effort to make us all feel welcome and appreciated for our business. When I hesitated on my beer selection she gave a sample of the ones I was interested in. Food was delivered timely and was unique in its taste and side/s. My only recommendation would be to have a little music on patio in the background for ambience but overall a 5-star experience! Jasmine really made the dining experience memorable!! Also the female host with dark complexion and braided pony tail was excellent with her smile and pleasant welcome; Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: BBQ"

Food was so so good! Brisket was so juicy and fatty I loved it. Went with my two girl friends and it filled all of us up. Only negative was the gravy tasted so bad. It had an old taste that just wasn't pleasant. Would definitely go again though!

This was our first time back since their reopening; we were greeted warmly and welcomed back by staff and management. This has been our Sunday breakfast place for a long time and hope that they are able to return to serving breakfast soon. In the meantime we will have lunch View menu

For the first time, Gus is with my baby sister on July 4th Independence Day. I was super excited and surprised with the service and the full rack of St. Louis spare ribs and two sides. Customer service was great and my order was ready before the call ever got cold. I recommend Gus' BBQ to everyone who wants the best in town. Everything was a current experience and I am glad that we chose Gus for our holiday meal. Thank you for the great experience and good RIBS.

I dine and take out, I ordered 9 combo dishes for me and my co-workers on Thursday, bought it home and took to work on Friday. I had just shared a meal with a friend on Tuesday there and enjoyed the Catfish and Fries, took a dish of the combo home, oh my goodnes, it was amazing. So I had to shared with my co-workers, two had never had combo before, everyone loved it, now I'm stuck on the Catfish and combo, I'm from Louisiana and the there dishes are never a disappointment. My co-workers were very pleased and satisfied, I knew they would be! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View menu

The delicious smell outside is deceiving. We had the cornbread which just didn't taste right and I had the rib and chicken combo with Memphis ribs and fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. The bbq sauce on the ribs was really good but the rib meat was tough and on the dry side. First time having that style so not sure if that's how it's supposed to be. The chicken was okay; it was super crispy. I didn't expect it to be flat. The mashed potatoes: great; the apple cider gravy was an abomination. Staff were wonderful and attentive. Patio dining on a lovely Fall night. Excellent rum hurricane and perfect southern sangria. I could've eaten two skillets of cornbread. We ate chili and tacos with ribs and brisket. ALL of it fresh, homemade, and cravable. Parking: Parking garage includes elevator and Gus's BBQ is right outside first floor parking. Kid-friendliness: Good portions, side options and drinks for kids Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp is wide and patio dining area is spacious as well. Any table could include wheel chairs, walkers, strollers, etc. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free parking lot, Free parkin...

"It 's not technically a secret menu item, but you need to let them know ahead of time (by at least a few days) if you want to order the Beef Wellington. You might assume that this means it is of a quality that is uniquely exquisite, and I can assure you that this assumption is 100% correct. This dish is literally made in part by a pastry-chef, and the moment you take a bite of the absurdly-delicate shell of I-don 't-even-know-what, you 'll understand why you have to arrange for this sort of treatment: it 's like an opera in your mouth. Underneath that mantle of what I assume is an elevated form of dough reserved for the better seats in heaven, there is a mushroom duxelle that I 'm quite certain would qualify for the dictionary entry if you were to look up the word unctious. Then, the filet. Is there an adequate word in the English language for a perfect medium-rare steak? The best part is that you actually have to be reminded that you 're eating an exquisite piece of beef underneath all of these charms, and it 's only responsible to forewarn you that dipping it in the au jus with which it 's served might just awaken you to a level of luxury you will struggle to equal in other establishments. I won 't even mention how good the wagyu-truffle ravioli was, or how their wedge-salad is served with fully a 3 oz triangle of delicately veined roquefort (bleu cheese) and bacon-bits made of *actual, perfectly cured smoky bits of bacon*. Point being: if you eat meat, this is something you should put on your bucket list. You 're not going to find a better meal anytime soon, after all. 10/10, would recommend."

"This review is strictly on the service as the food has remained consistently good. I've also taken as much time as possible to allow for as an objective experience as possible. When the owners/staff are speaking animatedly and with more energy with other Indian patrons who are sitting at the bar--whether or not they are family friends, etc, but go completely silent when they serve, that's a red flag. I was in the mood for Indian food and was in the area running errands, so I decided to stop by. I didn't really think much of the interaction initially when I walked in and was seated, but this question is directed mainly at the man and woman whom I've seen the last two times I've been here. Is there a reason for the difference in demeanor? There was another family who came in and were seated for dinner shortly before I left, and I noticed they were treated the same way--with complete silence. I'd consider this a nuance of this place specifically since I've been to Indian restaurants in Diamond Bar, Ontario, and Pomona, and there are distinctly more interactive. I wouldn't consider this a nuance of introversion based on what I've seen or heard. I'm not looking to have a heart-to-heart conversation but at least have a basic level of interaction like a thank you or welcome. I thanked the man each time my water was refilled, and I also said thank you when leaving. NO REPLY at any point, and this is not an exaggeration or embellishment of the experience. This has been consistent. If you're going to order for takeout, you're fine. If you're good with silence, you're fine too. I'll stick with Curryland in Pomona. That's a rougher part of Pomona in a small and dense parking lot. The food there is just as good, and least there's an inkling of customer service. I'm done with this place."
