"My family and I ate here before, and the food and service were great, but this time, the service was terrible. The hostess at the front of the restaurant was rude, inattentive, and quite frankly lazy. She told us it was a 20-minute wait for a table. We waited more than 20 minutes, so I went inside to see if it really was that crowded, to which the hostess made an attempt to get my attention to distract me from going inside. The tables were all dirty, and no one was cleaning them. It was then the hostess asked someone to clean a table for us. When we were finally sitting after about 45 minutes at this point, there was still an empty beer bottle and an empty water bottle at the table. When I grabbed them and gave them to the hostess, she acted with such an attitude about getting them. My family and I then waited longer, thinking we were going to order soon, we didn't no waiter or waitress came to the table at all. So we decided to cut our losses and just leave. A whole hour wait just to sit at a dirty table. I can understand that they might have been understaffed, but there was no reason to have that hostess out there on her phone instead of helping out clean tables inside."

Got me a trio of beer battered shrimp tacos with a pair of asada tacos! Asada was bomb but the trio of shrimp really socked the buds man! ?????Food: 5/5

The food was excellent, although the service was a bit slow. The chapulines (fried crickets) were fantastic. I’ll definitely return for the moles. Food: 5/5

It's a bar that happens to serve great food. Good music. Good service.I had the Ceviche de Pescado. Really wonderful flavors with all the ingredients in bite size cubes. It comes with 3 flat fried tortillas. Perfect for breaking off and scooping the ceviche into your mouth. For $14 I got more ceviche than I could eat at one sitting I took the rest home. View menu

THIS PLACE!!! You guys, the michis are bomb! The molcajetes are the best! The tortillas are hand made! Just everything, okay? Then, today we came and Elizabeth was just my favorite person ever! She was so on point with everything. Came super fast with our request and seemed like the only staff there ready and on it! She deserved a special shout out! 10/10 recommend this spot for a few drinks and a bomb little meal.

Loved this place. We went for a beer, cold and delicious and a quick appetizer which was a quesadilla and it was amazing. Hand made tortillas and queso Oaxaca. Service was great always attentive and with a smile on their face. Definitely going back to try the menudo. The place makes you feel as if you're in Mexico. Same type of ambiance and they let musicians come in and play your request. Good for a family gathering.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic! The food is absolutely delicious! However, the service was just average; there were only two servers managing the entire place, which resulted in a wait of over an hour from when I placed my order to when I received my food. So while the food is great, the wait times can be quite frustrating. But if you’re willing to be patient, definitely try the tinga flautas or the carnitas michoacan—both are incredibly tasty! I visited the restaurant today with some coworkers, and I must say, I had the best margarita I've had in years! The guava flavor was absolutely delicious. For my meal, I chose the shrimp enchiladas. Since I was having trouble deciding from their menu, I asked the waitress to surprise me, and she certainly did—I cleaned my plate! The service was fantastic; even though it was just her and she had a few other tables, she was very attentive. She made sure we felt taken care of without being overwhelmed. Additionally, they have this adorable little robot named Arturo. I’m giving five stars to both Arturo and Lali! I will definitely be back for more of those margaritas.

This place is awesome, great setting at the back end of the historic Olvera street. 1 gripe is that they serve the guacamole on a bare cutting board. REALLY COOL presentation, I just wish they would put down a barrier between the delicious guacamole and the bare cutting board that is cracked and ruddy as most cutting boards are (I've little doubt it was washed before use as a presentation platter but still). Do that and they get a perfect 5 stars. Like I said, the presentation is really really cool but I only ate from the top of the guacamole mound, being careful to not eat any of the guacamole that was in contact with the bare cutting board. Also: the service was really good. The guy who wa...
