"So sad to see the owners leave to go back to France. The restaurant food, service and ambiance was fabulous. Venice needs more good ethnic restaurants. They all do good business but unfortunately it's hard to get servers and many customers don't tip well which makes it hard to keep help. I will truly miss this gem of a restaurant! Was there for the final time last evening."

"This is the 3rd time we have eaten there. Every time we are in in the Venice area, we make it a point to go there. It's a friendly place with a beautiful view. I had the shrimp and grits last night. The best grits I've ever had! Our waiter was from France..... delightful accent and could not have been more accommodating. My husband had a grouper dish with mushrooms, shrimp and scallops. It was also excellent. Seafood was cooked perfectly...not overcooked."

"the 139 positive reviews must be friends and family or people who have never really tasted Thai food. I am always suspicious of restaurants that offer a wasted dishes and do a 7-10 split (bowling metapher) on the cultures that it immerses. Japanese and Thai eating are not the same, but sometimes they have Thai kitchens and a sushi cook, so that we had a try. the service was indispensable, despite the fact that the place was almost empty. I showed her what we wanted on the menu, but she forgot and didn't get the replacement I asked, but okay, we moved on. fried egg rolls are frozen, but not well frozen. the ones I buy at costco are better what is a sad thing to say. there are no shares. no sauces on the table. the curry was below average and the meat was hard. the first and last time for us."

"we have sunk a little before 3:00 clock to san marco after we found our destination closed for the afternoon. Happy! our server called our attention to the savor sarasota promotion menu: three curs lunch for $20. my wife chose the aubergine (and mozzarella) tower appetizer, and I chose arancini. both dishes were generous portions for a promotional menu and delicious. for her entree ordered my wife flounder piccata, I chose osso buco ravioli (at a price;) both dishes were fresh and hot delivered from the kitchen. the fish was perfectly prepared, and my wife was especially happy with the fish and the quality of the side. my ravioli, in a mushroom Demi-Glamace, were delicious and again a more than generous part. for dessert we both decided for limoncello crème brulee, which type of hit all our checkboxes dessert; it surpassed our high expectations. service was timely, polite and super; business was easy, and our server could take more time with recommended and background. we have also found that the server is obviously proud of the facility and have spoken very of the administration; always a good sign, in our experience. next time we are in the inner city of venedig for lunch or dinner, san marco is to be seen at the top of our list."
