"This place surprised me when I asked about vegan options. My wife and I sat at the bar so we had quicker responses to questions about the menu. The bartender/waiter suggested five different dishes vegan friendly. We had three of them that were phenomenal. The 18 monk noodles, Forest of Jade (dumplings) and the coconut ceviche. 18 monk noodles had a Pad See Ew Thai noodle taste and texture to it. The dumplings were so juicy filled with forest mushrooms, jicama, celery and cilantro. The coconut ceviche surprised me the most with its taste and texture similar to fish. It’s made with young coconut marinaded with lime juice, avocado, teardrop peppers, red onion and cilantro. Hopefully this review of this place helps. FYI, the restaurant is in the cosmopolitan hotel. Enjoy!"

I visit Vegas every year and always look forward to the cactus tacos. They are vegetarian but can be made vegan.

The dim sum at Golden Pearls was fantastic. They also offered large portions of chips and salsa, along with great cocktails. View menu

There are more vegan options than the menu shows. Ask your server for recommendations. I had the cold noodle salad which was delicious. They made the black bean taco and the cactus taco vegan for me. So good.

The vegan baked rice and golden pearl dumplings from the dim sum menu were amazing! They were incredibly flavorful! The service was excellent as well; the staff was very helpful when we inquired about the menu.

This is a great option if you're in the area, especially if they aren't catering to vegetarians. I highly recommend the chips and salsa, bean tacos without cheese, and the cold noodle salad! Everything is delicious! View menu

Not much on this menu at this point even the guacamole has added dairy cheese. One cold noodle salad, coconut ceviche and roasted vegetables. Not one vegan taco option. Okay if you’re with omnis but not a place I’d seek out.

Food is not horrible but a bit underwhelming compared to the great vegan options you can find at the Wynn and encore restaurants. Did the tasting Menu. Highlights were the fried rice and coconut ceviche. Most dishes in the menu were quite forgettable and a very salty. The cocktail pairings did not really complement the dishes so I will skip on that. Dessert was a tiny scoop of sorbet. Will not be returning here.

"Entry: We entered Oscar's via the front entrance of The Plaza at the West end of Fremont Street. Off to the left near the entrance is the escalator that leads you to their second floor. When we entered we were immediately greeted and seated by a friendly hostess. We requested a table with a view and she definitely obliged. Atmosphere:The ambience at Oscar's is about as good as you can get in downtown Las Vegas. Centered in a large and beautifully tinted glass dome you get panoramic views of downtown LV and even the sky. Service:The service was a spectacular star experience with our waiter. Our water and drinks were never empty. He was attentive, professional and friendly. Food Drink:The food was very good but not quite up to star. The Chilean Sea Bass was the full fish with skin which is quite different than how most steakhouses prepare just a single filet. It was supposed to be deboned however we found bones while eating. The skin on the filet should be crispy throughout but was only so around the edges. Definitely overpriced for the quality of this meal. The salmon was decent but not amazing. Overcooked just a smidge and not seasoned very well. So pretty much tasted like any other salmon you might expect from a or star restaurant. The filet mignon was decent but probably not even in my top The cut was more fatty than what you would expect from a high end steakhouse and not marbleized. I ordered it medium, and as many steakhouse chefs struggle with cooking a filet properly it was cooked to order on the edges and pretty much completely rare on the inside. The grilled asparagus was likely the high point of the dinner. Was cooked to perfection and tender in the middle, crispy on the edges. The creamed spinach wasn't great. The spinach was undercooked and affected the smooth consistency that you should expect from a good cream spinach.Overall:Definitely worth trying for the experience but don't set your bar too high"
