"Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, which offers truly authentic Chong Qing flavors. If you're a fan of spicy dishes that have a numbing sensation, this is definitely the place for you. As a vegetarian, I particularly enjoyed the tomato and egg noodles. The noodles had a firmer texture, which may not suit those looking for something softer. They almost seemed slightly undercooked, but I believe that's just part of the noodle's charm. The cold jelly noodles were decent; the flavors were good, but the jelly itself wasn't the best I’ve had. As a nice surprise, they offered us the drooling chicken for free, as we were a party of six, and it carried the same delightful numbing spice."

So very good! We had the dan dan noodles, handmade chong qing noodles and the gele mountain chicken and all three were good, appropriately spicy and just a little numbing from the peppercorn. Absolutely delicious, we loved everything. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner View menu

I really enjoyed the dumplings, and the prices are quite reasonable. For my dining experience, I visited for lunch. I would rate the food a solid 5 out of 5, while the service and atmosphere both get a 3 out of 5. Overall, it's a good spot for a meal without breaking the bank, with prices around $1–10 per person.

Don't get the 口水雞 (drooling chicken) even though it's free with 3+ people. It was disgusting. The chicken tasted almost raw despite having an overcooked texture. Their other noodles were good though, and the price is good. I liked the lamb meat in the lamb soup noodles, and my friends liked the big plate chicken and 豌豆麵. Their wood ear mushroom cold dish was also tasty. Food: 3

I usually order take out. Local restaurant in San Gabriel, I don’t like the atmosphere, just a little too dark and old for me. But I love the food! The food is good for the authenticity. I usually will order catering if I have a party at home. The quantity is good and the price is reasonable. Service is as good as they can get. Overall, my favorite place to pickup a regular Chinese spicy dinner for my family. Service: Takeaway View menu

Excellent food! The twice cooked pork with rice on the side is one of my favorite dishes I’ve ever had. So comforting and tasty. The pan fried homemade noodles should be a controlled substance because they are highly addictive. Warm, attentive, friendly service. Be prepared for truly authentic Chinese cuisine there’s nothing Americanized about this spot. Prices are reasonable and serving sizes are good. When I’m anywhere remotely near SGV, I make sure to stop here.

Visiting from out of town and decided to come by to get my noodle fix. My friends and I got the braised beef soup noodle (ask to make with handmade noodle), wonton dumpling in spicy sauce (actually a soup broth not sauce but still good not sure if they brought out the wrong item but we ate it anyways), spicy fried chicken, and Dan Dan noodles. Everything was great but the Dan dan noodles were definitely our favorite and the best we’ve ever had! The flavor and texture of the noodles were perfect! Would definitely recommend!
