"This restaurant is incredibly popular! It features fantastic outdoor seating that's ideal for families and large groups, situated on a lively corner that surprisingly feels more spacious than it seems from the street. The food is truly exceptional. I tried the vegan chicken sandwich, a favorite among vegetarians, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. It was tender and crispy, filled generously, and accompanied by a delicious spiced sauce. I also tasted the buffalo carrots, which were abundant and perfectly fried, coated in a tangy sauce with hints of Indian spices. We couldn't resist trying the house-made fries, which were seasoned to perfection and served with two amazing dipping sauces. The deep-fried peach cake was a highlight—it felt like a carnival treat, but even better! Everything was prepared quickly, even with just two people managing the kitchen for our larger group. This has become a new favorite for us, and we can't wait to come back!"

"Wow, where to begin. My first time experiencing this restaurant was on a date with the husband..long overdue. I first noticed the part of town the restaurant is seated in, which is very upscale and neatly tucked away from typical Eugene rift raft. Upon entering, my husband and I were immediately greeted by a smiling hostess and seated in a spot of our choosing. Sunday evening at 7 pm, dinner was slow this time, so we were fortunate. Our server was at our table within a minute and a half and had water for us in seconds. We took maybe 5 7 minutes to pick our entree but ordered the frickles appetizer to start. We got those only minutes after ordering. They were served in a round silver tin can with a spicy house aeoli, and 'oh my goodness ', were they delicious . For dinner, I ordered the fish (wild Alaskan cod) and chips, and my husband ordered the seasonal fish. My cod was fairly basic, but in a very good way. With just the right amount of beer batter and a hint of dill to give it an earthy flavor, it was some of the better fish and chips I 've ever tasted. Fries were simple, seasoned fries but were good. My husband 's meal.. and I only know the taste because he force fed me a bite almost immediately and let me just tell you there was an explosion of flavors, was divine. The fish was cooked to perfection and the pasta and sauce combo really jived well with the halibut (current seasonal fish). Sadly, we did not try any brews or spirits but I can only imagine the beverages are just as good as the food. For the dining experience... the tables are seated a little close together, but the open kitchen and bar give the restaurant a spacious feel to it. High ceilings and two televisions above the bar make it feel homey, while smaller individual tables and outdoor patio seating lend to a more upscale vibe. The facilities are well kept, and our server was very professional and delightful while keeping our glasses full. Pricing I believe the fish and chips were around $15, and the seasonal fish was closer to $20, just for reference. Well worth the cost for the dining experience we had. Will most definitely be returning to this establishment in the future."

"I called in an order at 6:00pm tonight, was told it would be ready in about 35-45 minutes. I arrived at 6:40, and didn?t get my food until 8:45pm. I waited for two rolls for 2 hours after I was told it would be done. I know it was a busy night I?m veryunderstanding if something is taking a little longer than expected or if a business is short staffed, but that is not an excusefor a business to have take out orders be more than a two hour wait. If you can?t get orders out with in a reasonable time youneed to put a hold on take out orders. It was pretty frustrating watching other people that were waiting in the entrance saythey put in their order at a time before I did leave before I was to get my food with orders larger than mine. After waitingfor two hours, I was not given any discount or refund for the inconvenience."

"The information online and the hours listed on the front door both told us the restaurant closed at 9:00 pm. We walked in at 8:10 pm, and the hostess asked if we were dining in. We replied we were, and she very rudely said, You do know we close at 8:30, right? We told her we did not know that, and pointed to the lettering on the door that read 9:00. She gave an exasperated sigh, seated us, and gave us the menus. She was rude and curt with us the entire time. We finished eating, boxed our leftovers, paid our tab, and left at 8:40. Could not have been less impressed with the service and treatment. But the food was absolutely delicious."

"Stopped in for lunch today, and had a very good experience. I ordered the BBQ Brisket Sammie (shaved brisket), and it was delicious. The meat was nice and tender, and it was slathered in a smoky BBQ sauce that wasn't overly sweet. It was messy, but that's too be expected... it was really good. The fries are thin, but perfectly crispy, with nice potato flavor. Definitely 5-star potential here, but I'd like to try some other items before deciding if it deserves that. I am also holding back a little because there were bugs in my daughter's drink when she got it from the soda machine (we notified them, and she got a different drink)."
