"I live in Apex, but I've now found a reason to make regular trips to Garner thanks to Cocula. As a huge fan of authentic Mexican cuisine, I consider this restaurant a true gem. I ordered the Enchiladas Supreme from the dinner menu, which presented a delightful variety of four enchiladas—cheese, ground beef, chicken, and bean—beautifully arranged on a hot plate. They were generously topped with a flavorful red sauce, sour cream, and shredded cabbage. The enchiladas had a remarkably smooth texture, and each bite was simply melting in my mouth. The wait staff was outstanding! They provided attentive service, with my waiter checking in on me frequently before, during, and after my meal. When I accidentally dropped a glass and shattered it, the staff quickly reassured me and efficiently cleaned up the mess. My embarrassment turned into gratitude in no time. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with cozy booths that enhance the overall dining experience. Between the fantastic food and the attentive service, this restaurant is a real treasure. I can’t wait to come back!"

I ordered online from this restaurant, but when I arrived to pick it up, the manager told me they don't accept online orders. Now I'm out $42.

I will definitely be coming back! The food, service, atmosphere and price were all above average. I suggest the skinny top margarita and mahi mahi/ shrimp tacos.

Pretty good Mexican restaurant. Typical food, decent service. There is a full service bar. It isn’t as fancy as the old Tripp’s but it meets or exceeds the standard for a typical Mexican restaurant. The bathrooms were clean which is a big plus.

The food is undoubtedly the best Mexican cuisine I've had since moving here. The service was exceptional too. Guillermo (Memo) was incredibly friendly, offered outstanding service, engaged in enjoyable conversation, and showed a great deal of knowledge. View menu

If I could I would give this last visit a -10. Service is slow the menu is nothing like it was when it was Cocula. This will be the last visit to this restaurant. For the Last 2 years I have eaten every week at this location that will not happen anymore.

This is the best Mexican food I have eaten in a LONG time, and definitely the best I've had in the triangle so far. I got the shrimp with garlic sauce it was AMAZING. Service was fantastic as well. Everything that I saw come out of the kitchen looked divine. My wife got the shrimp cocktail and loved hers as well. Can't wait to go back! View menu

After a long day at work we decided to go out to dinner. We were definitely not let down. The burrito was fantastic, enjoyed the mix of steak and chorizo. My wife had a fajita platter, she loved the scallops and bacon that were on it. The only thing that made it lose a star was because the service was a bit slow. Took awhile to get a server to take an order, refill drinks, and get a bill; even though the restaurant was not busy.

This is the new must-visit Mexican restaurant in Garner! Pros: The ambiance is both stylish and inviting, the food is exceptional, the drinks are tasty and reasonably priced, and you receive complimentary chips with delicious salsa. Additionally, the service is outstanding! Cons: The prices are a bit higher than average, but the quality of the food makes it worth every penny. It’s not overpriced—just a step above your typical bland tacos, beans, and rice joint. Overall, I will definitely return whenever I crave Mexican food. It’s genuinely a hidden gem!

"I ordered the intake for the birthday dinner of my mother and the food was good (I ordered a few deeres), but I was very disappointed after I found a piece of hair in the sauce that I got on the side for the bohnenburger. I found the hair in the sauce after I put the sauce on the burger, with the burger not even eaten halfway. I called to inform madgardless about it, and the employee I spoke with said that she will look into it, but I would have really appreciated an anesthetic sincere apology. an apology goes far into my book. I was a fairly common customer, but after calling and talking to her it put a bad taste in my mouth. update: I was contacted by the administration and will deliver update soon I had the opportunity to talk to the manager when she reached me shortly after the submission of this review. she was sincerely apologetic and worked a few things with me to fix the situation, and I was satisfied with the order. some days later or so, I was in the mood for a dune in experience at irregardless, this go round. I enjoyed my experience from beginning to end. I was able to taste a lot of dressed from the appetizer to dessert and I enjoyed. the waiter was very good and made great recommendations. the good taste in my mouth was restored. no, but really, thank you for good customer service and care that has been provided. I've come back in the last few years."
