"I had heard wonderful things and read excellent reviews for quite some time before we finally decided to visit. From the moment we arrived, the entire staff greeted us or acknowledged our presence, which made us feel welcome. The portion sizes are generous, the food is served hot and delicious, and the staff is fantastic. It’s a lively place worth checking out. We will definitely return to explore more of the menu. During our visit, we enjoyed two servings of chips with salsa and queso blanco, a cheeseburger, onion rings, a taco salad with flavorful beans and fluffy rice, a kids' breakfast plate featuring bacon, extra bacon instead of an egg, and two (not-so) mini pancakes. I can't wait to go back for more!"

Compadre's Texas Cafe is a fantastic local spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The breakfast tacos and burritos are generously sized and reasonably priced. The burgers and BLT are delicious as well! You definitely won't leave hungry, as the portions are quite large!

We have passed this restaurant several times from going back and forth over the past couple years coaching soccer. Finally a few weeks ago, my husband and I stopped. It was so worth it. The food is so yummy. This has become my favorite breakfast place and I can't get enough of the tea. This will be our new place for our once a week family outing.

Pretty uniformly awesome. First visit, I had breakfast which was delicious. I did give in and order pie, if ordering dessert with breakfast Is wrong I don't want to be right. Not particularly inexpensive, but portions were appropriately generous. Against the backdrop of The Woodlands, with its complete lack of character, this is a real find. I'll definitely be back.
