"I have always had great service at Coopers until last night, when I was turned away from the package store side. I had at least $65 worth of groceries, including Brats. I asked the clerk on the liquor store side to help me find white beer for a Brat recipe. Earlier , My friend jumped out of the house to go with me. She didn 't bring her handbag or phone or wallet with her as she was just keeping me company. When we went to pay for all the goods the clerk asked my friend for her ID, she said she didn 't bring her wallet. And was just along for the ride. I said this is my purchase in any case she 's just hanging out with me. I produced my ID. He refused the sale. He claimed that both people in the party needed to show ID. I have NEVER experienced this at Cooper 's or anywhere else, ever. Now, i understand there are regulations, and the licensing board wants to make sure kids don 't get booze from adults buying for them. The problem is, I 'm 57 and my friend is 46. Neither one of us could possibly be too young to buy beer. This treatment was disrespectful, bordering on harassment. I tried to convince him that I 'm sure what ever regulator might know or see the transaction would have better things to worry about than one 46 YO and another middle aged, grey haired woman getting a six pack of beer. His demeanor was rude, and thoughtless, and I mean he looked like he was incapable of thought. He may well have been a droid hardwired with a rude blank look on his face. I thought he was enjoying his adherence to absurd rules. I left the food I had selected there and left angry and insulted. He was playing games with two people who were perfectly polite, and reasonable, we didn 't deserve this treatment of being the receivers of his blank eyed power trip. I 'm sorry to review the convenience store I have been using for years. But this was just too much and I won 't be going back anytime soon."

Great place to stop and get some groceries! Workers are always super nice and the deli has a wide assortment of products. Our go-to grocery store.

This rating is based only on the beer selection which is beyond epic. Vermont and Maine beers as well as various NE craft breweries. Fair prices. If only i lived closer lol...

Pricey as all get out!! Small and cramped. Good luck getting lunch at the deli. It was pure chaos. You'd think they'd have some semblance of an organized system. Nope. Lunch specials were nothing to write home about and, as others have commented, the staff is rather rude and crabby.

Terrible experience. I witnessed a manager shouting at an employee without cause, and then the manager was rude to me immediately afterward. This is no way to manage a business. My sandwich was made incorrectly and was unappetizing, and the olives in the grab-and-go section were wrinkled and appeared to have been out for days. View menu

I am disgusted by the woman at the counter and the horrible way in which she treated a couple with a child who walked into the store without masks. The couple asked for masks and she demanded they wait outside. When they refused she began ranting and raving about how you dont care about me or my health! The child started crying the woman acted so aggressively and they walked out upset. What a world this has come to. This woman has no business working with the public.

Cranky old lady store manager tried to force me to buy a 1 dollar mask that's made in a sweatshop from China to enter the store. How pathetic of some middle aged and old people to latch to control because they don't feel good about themselves. It's a dam shame. Masks should have no charge and should be free to the public from businesses, some people don't have a dollar to throw down the drain. I don't see myself going back to this store any time in the future unless I get a written apology.

Excellent deli and even better beer selection! This is a great stop if you forgot something on your grocery trip or just need a few snacks for lunch. They always have fresh to-go sandwiches and potato/pasta salad selections right when you walk in as well. I was in here for lunch the other day and noticed how efficient the staff was working to get folks in and out. The deli was crushing their orders and the two cashiers were very accommodating. That could make or break a short lunch break. Added bonus if tables are open outside to enjoy the patio area! View menu

Cooper's Corner has serious cleanliness issues, particularly in their deli section where I've noticed moldy spoons being used for salads. The staff's attitude ranges from rude and indifferent to disingenuous and snobbish. On one occasion, I witnessed them allowing a group of underage college girls to purchase alcohol through some questionable means. Prices here are excessively high and not justified. I would recommend avoiding this place altogether. Instead, consider Doyle's package store just down the street, which has been nicely renovated, or seek out one of the many other better dining options in the area for food.

Their sandwiches can be quite good but the service at the deli counter is HORRIBLE. Always has been, for years, and hard to believe but it's getting worse. They are extremely slow. They are inconsistent ordered the exact same thing two days in the same week and the sandwiches had totally different amounts of meat, etc. They ignore you for a long time even when it's to point out that the order I called in so as not to have to stand around in their store for 15 minutes was not in the pick up basket. There were several sandwiches in the basket, two with no names, neither were mine which was behind the counter. Just terrible service.

"Hours- Saturday hours on Google are incorrect. The place shuts down from 2pm til 5 PM while the staff is getting ready for dinner crowd. This was extremely inconvenient as we had to spend money on extra parking and also try to find something else to do for few hours. Staff- The moment you walk in , you imidiately face the sushi bar and the big chef of the house, the man himself who greats you and then hits his gong with a mallet to let everyone know that you have arrived, VIP is here! I thought it was great. The male waiter welcomed us next and offered us few areas to sit down in, we wanted to stay next to the chef so we stayed downstairs at the sushi bar. (They do have main sitting area upstairs) Food- The place offers Omakase, so we went with that ONLY because the chef was very friendly. We had multiple variations of sushi and sashimi made by chef and his staff. All the foods were photographed for this review, except the eel temaki. Toro was so fat and so smooth, with a very mild fish flavor. The oysters with raw quail egg were probably my favorite, absolutely brilliant! So smooth, nothing funky, just smooth and delicious! Yellowtail was fresh tasting. Their rice in the sushi was great as well (I dont know what all these Daves and Maries complain about it) One negative thing about our experience- the woman kept on making sure we're OK with the price of Omakase after we had repeated multiple times we didnt care about the price tag we wanted the experience (so that kind of put me back in my seat for a quick minute but it's ok, or as my husband said they probably experienced some fools before and so they're trying to protect themselves against that kind of crowd) Overall, it is a great place for good quality sushi right here in DT NoHo. Prices are reasonable for normal menu items. Omakase cost us about $60 a person, and with some sake we looked at about $150 when we were done. Thank you."
