"The fish stew was delicious, hearty, and healthy. It had plenty of salmon, huge chunks of carrot, and punchy olives and capers. It was the kind of meal that filled you up without making you feel gross. I had a fresh carrot, orange and ginger drink to wash it all down which I highly recommend. You order at the counter here and pay at the same time, after which they bring you your food. This is a little awkward I think if you're planning to order dessert. I sat outside in the front but I kept changing seats when the stench of the nearby dumpsters got to me. I moved to the back where I didn't have this problem. The food is great and the guys behind the counter are friendly and informative (and not pushy at all... didn't even ask if I wanted a drink which I almost forgot) so I could definitely see myself returning. Enjoy!"

One of my most favorite cafes. I've been going here for 13 years. The family who own it are divine, and so is the food, drink, ambience. Just the best!!

We had a beautiful well presented tajin vegetable couscous dish and it was AMAZINGLY good! I entered with hesitation but we are on our way back and can’t wait to eat their amazing food!

The crepes here are great. I got the salmon crepe and the portions were generous and the dish was delicious. I've been coming here for weekend lunch regularly since. My partner is a vegetarian and they have good vegetarian options as well. View menu

It was our first time stopping in...we didn't really know what to do. We walked in the door and sat down and it took a few moments for us to realize that you needed to go up to the counter to order.... The food was really good but the atmosphere was a bit funky... It just felt cold. Not very homey... Like nobody really welcomed us.... We had to look around until we saw a box with the menus in it so we got up to get our own menus. There wasn't a lot of smiling faces or happy looking employees. Order drinks first then food. Some drinks came out right away others after we had eaten our meal.

I ordered a mosaic salad with chicken. It cost $16. It had one walnut and all of the chicken was burnt, overcooked, and tok tough to eat. I ate the lettuce and left everything else. I was with my cousin and her husband and they paid for my meal because I had treated them to two tickets for a play we were on our way to after the meal at Mosaic. Because we were 1. In a rush and 2.i did not want to potentially embarrass my cousin by expressing dissatisfaction with the meal, I asked to take the leftovers home and decided the next day I would call them and have them re make the salad which was mostly .uneaten They told me to come in upon which time they still baled and I demanded they call the bo...

"Hours- Saturday hours on Google are incorrect. The place shuts down from 2pm til 5 PM while the staff is getting ready for dinner crowd. This was extremely inconvenient as we had to spend money on extra parking and also try to find something else to do for few hours. Staff- The moment you walk in , you imidiately face the sushi bar and the big chef of the house, the man himself who greats you and then hits his gong with a mallet to let everyone know that you have arrived, VIP is here! I thought it was great. The male waiter welcomed us next and offered us few areas to sit down in, we wanted to stay next to the chef so we stayed downstairs at the sushi bar. (They do have main sitting area upstairs) Food- The place offers Omakase, so we went with that ONLY because the chef was very friendly. We had multiple variations of sushi and sashimi made by chef and his staff. All the foods were photographed for this review, except the eel temaki. Toro was so fat and so smooth, with a very mild fish flavor. The oysters with raw quail egg were probably my favorite, absolutely brilliant! So smooth, nothing funky, just smooth and delicious! Yellowtail was fresh tasting. Their rice in the sushi was great as well (I dont know what all these Daves and Maries complain about it) One negative thing about our experience- the woman kept on making sure we're OK with the price of Omakase after we had repeated multiple times we didnt care about the price tag we wanted the experience (so that kind of put me back in my seat for a quick minute but it's ok, or as my husband said they probably experienced some fools before and so they're trying to protect themselves against that kind of crowd) Overall, it is a great place for good quality sushi right here in DT NoHo. Prices are reasonable for normal menu items. Omakase cost us about $60 a person, and with some sake we looked at about $150 when we were done. Thank you."
